We’re a greetings card, stationery and gift company operating from our HQ in Loughborough. Founded in 2011, we’re proud to say that Ohh Deer has quickly become the established place to go to find quirky, artistic and fun illustrated products.

“Some pastels (chalks) arrived broken. It could be nice to have an explanation of the product and examples/ ideas on how you can use it. Not everyone is creative :)”

“I was interested in subscribing to the Papergang stationery boxes, so I wanted to try out a bunch of the previous boxes to determine if I liked the quality. Overall the stationary was of decent quality, certainly not luxury. Overall many printed items, especially prints and items from the "Let Your Heart Be Your Guide" were of a home-made print quality. Much of the paper stock did not hold colours as vibrant as the advertising pictures, especially items with dark colours.”

“I was looking forward to receiving a box of lovely stationery items. I know they were wholesale and bought at discounted prices but was disappointed by the way they just seemed thrown into a box with the kind of packaging that creates a dusty residue on everything. I had to wipe all the items down. The candle arrived without a label. They were lovely things but packaged and sent a bit thoughtlessly, especially since the P&P was a significant sum.”

Hello, I'm really sorry about the residue. To be as environmentally conscious as possible we moved away from purchasing packaging material some time ago and shred our old cardboard to protect the contents of each order. This does sometimes create a fine powder that can stick to the shredded cardboard thus leaving the residue you refer to. It's really good feedback and we will look at the process to see if there is a step required that could help minimise the residue. I'm really glad to hear you like the items you purchased though although please accept our apologies regarding the candle. There was a mis-print/photopgraphy error for a short period of time on the website that was swiftly correct because the candle is naked and not labelled as the original photo displayed. Ah, Amy we're so sorry to hear that. We know part of ordering something is the anticipation of its arrival, the process of receiving the parcel and opening it, as well as hoping the product is everything you hoped it would be. I'm sorry that part of this was lost by the packaging being damaged. “The products themselves were good. The boxes inside the package were slightly damaged which is a shame as they’re for a gift. My gripe with ‘oh dear’ is that they always use Royal Mail to deliver and the service where I live is so awful that it takes two weeks to get a 48h delivery, so I can’t order from these guys if I want it in a hurry. Plus I usually have to go to the sorting office to get it myself because they never turn up for any of the arranged delivery dates and I find getting to and accessing the building tricky. I like the products that I’ve had from ‘oh dear’ but I think they need to re-think delivery, this isn’t a temporary problem with Royal Mail, it’s been an issue for a few years.”

We also offer FedEx as a carrier you can select at checkout for UK deliveries, so if Royal Mail doesn't work for you, you always have the option choose FedEx instead when placing your order online. “The cards are great but it took 6 days to arrive from placing the order. I don't understand how an envelope of 3 cards takes nearly a week to arrive? Luckily I ordered in good time but probably won't order again if I'm in a rush. Its a shame because I prefer the humour of these cards to other brands.”

We despatched your order the next day and the fact it took 6 days to arrive is not something we've come to expect from Royal Mail. We've had 3 people make same comment, all despatched on the 16th of March so we're taking the matter up with Royal Mail to understand why there was a delay that week. As a thank you and an apology, we've sent you a DM with a code so you can get a freebie to make up for the issue. “I was happy with the card but would be more likely to use ohh deer again if the delivery was quicker. My order took 5 days to arrive. Granted one of those days was a Sunday and site does say 1-3 working days but other online card suppliers provide a next day delivery so it is something I will consider if I need the card reasonably quickly.”

Despatched within 24 hours and then it took 5 days to arrive, that's not what we usually see or have come to expect from Royal Mail. “Hi there, Unfortunately the package arrived damaged so it was quite disappointing. Things were bent and marked inside, as well as the box being damaged. “I liked the cards. stamps, and stickers in this box, but the pen didn't work well, the desk planner is a bit small. All in all, it's okay but not worth the full price. I would be happy with lower-quality packaging if it meant the contents were higher quality. This was my first purchase: I might buy individual products from this company in the future, but I'm not sure I'd buy another Papergang box.”

“Rather underwhelming and not high quality. Pink pen did not work. I thought there would be letter writing paper but there wasn’t any. Good gift for child over 8. Not really suitable for adult. Service was quick and efficient.”

“Sturdy and attractive stationery box, but haven’t opened to view contents as I ordered it as a gift. Hadn’t realised that it would arrive without additional packaging, so label addressed to me was attached directly onto the decorative box. So far haven’t been able to remove all of it to be able to gift the box after all.”
