“The roof bars look good do the job and certainly grip the car’s rails whatever shape. Value for money yes. However, they do require a lot of user time in assembling and fitting to the car - realistically an hour and could be a pretty daunting task to someone not too practical. The tiny of the two Allen keys supplied needs to be L shaped. Mine was just a tiny straight bar and useless for tightening Fortunately I have a set of my own.”

“The product itself is very good and well made but why do they make it so a dogs head can fit round the side. It needs to be wider to stop this happening. I have had to attach side pieces so my dog can’t hurt himself or get stuck when I am driving. In the picture it shows it fitting out to the sides. A bit misleading I think.”

“I made an enquiry about fitting a Farad roof rack to a BMW X6 2013 (no roof rails) and how it would cope with the sloping roof - DriveDen sent info at 2100 the same evening. After buying the car I ordered the roof rack - arrived in 2 days. Rated for a 100kg load, it took a couple of hours to adjust them to fit correctly but they are strong enough to carry 2 x 5.5 metre long class A ladders weighing 60 kgs..”

“Preserving from site was easy and uncomplicated, plenty of info given. Product arrived in excellent condition and on the allotted date. As for the product, it eventually fitted my car after a lot of fidgeting and re-measuring of the rubber stop bars. Instructions are quite poor and very little words used if any, mainly pictographs which leaves a lot of room for error. Racks fitted eventually but you never get the same watertight seal on your doors as there is a gap and any rainfall will penetrate the door, it does run down to the sill but wouldn’t like to hazard about any long term damage.”
