“Purchased the Farad roof bars for a BMW 218 Grand Coupe. Light, occasional use planned. The Online tool to identify the correct bars was very helpful. Price wise at £119 they were less than half the price of the official BMW ones and nearly rwo thirds cheaper than Halfords at around £350. It was clear what the maximum load was which was less than the competition but I do not plan on moving very heavy items - will be ladders, long lengths of wood etc. Paid a small charge for next day delivery and the roof bars were delivered exactly as promised with good updates during the day. When I went to fit them it was obvious something was missing. I then found out there was no support telephone number. Slight sense of foreboding but I fired in a question to the Contact us email and within 2 working hours the reply came back that a 3rd box sometimes gets stuck and overlook into bottom of the long carton and that is exactly what had happened. Instructions - more than a touch of IKEA about them but once figured out very quick to get the mornings and bars fitted. Worth using Vaseline or silicone spray when fitting the rubber inserts on the top and bottom of bars. Slight noise when driving at speed but nothing terrible. All in all a good value product for the price. Excellent delivery and customer support.”
