Don't order anything from this amateur website. If you look on your phone to place an order, please be careful to check everything. Not phone friendly. Appalling customer service, disgusting manners, shocking blunt answers, disgraceful attitude, rude lady won't confirm when the manager would be available to discuss the matter. When I emailed the company to the attention of the owner, the same lady ended up replying to me. Look elsewhere to buy your clothing. Any returned items are charged for, even when the order placed is a few hundred pounds. Shocking customer experience and satisfaction is the worst I've ever seen. You've been warned!!!!!

Hi Barry, Thank you for your 1 star review, but as clearly stated on the phone and also by our director on email, the fittings of the polo shirts are in the product description. You are unhappy because the polo shirts did not fit and informed us that it stated nowhere on the website that these were slim fit polo shirts when actually in the product description it states it on the top line and also it is the first bullet point in the product description. As promised you have used our Royal Mail returns service and we have received these back today for a full refund. Kind regards Alex

i ordered trainers off the internet, the courier said they had been delivered, i phoned the shop as the courier they used can only be contacted by email, i recieved an email to say they were in touch with the courier on the 20/12/2022 and as of yet ive heard nothing back!

Hi Nicola, Unfortunately as your item showed as successfully delivered and signed for, we had to wait for FDL to properly investigate this and get back to us before we could take any further action, as from our end we had no confirmation that this was definitley lost. Hi Karen I can only apologise for your order not arriving in time and I understand your frustration with this. We changed couriers to Fast Despatch Logistics as Royal Mail were on strike, however they have also experienced a lot of delays. We have chased this for over a week and even moved couriers from the 19th December to try and ease the load on FDL to help encourage the packages to get there in time but for a few this has been to no avail. I'm very sorry for the delay you have experienced, your parcel was last scanned yesterday with FDL therefore it is not lost and is still with them, however is just unfortunately very delayed. Hi Ben, Your order was placed and dispatched on the 14th Dec, a delivery attempt was then made on the 17th however nobody was available to take the delivery therefore this was returned to the depot. Your order is still with Fast Despatch Logistics and another delivery attempt will be made however unfortunately they are experiencing a lot of delays due to the high demand. Hi Cheryl, We switched to a new courier company due to the delays with Royal Mail and them being on strike however unfortunately Fast Despatch Logistics are now also experiencing a lot of delays due to the high demand. Your orders were dispatched on the 14th and 15th, and Fast Despatch Logistics have been contacted about these and we requested to prioritise them when you got in contact with us. I placed an order however 2 days later you then said that you did not have stock. With todays technology I find it concerning that you online system is not correctly reflecting your back end stock availability. It does not leave me with any hope that you could get another order right if I was to even considering placing another order. On top of that your email system things that I actual received my order and hence this email. Again two system not connected.

Unfortunately sometimes our online stock levels are wrong as they are also linked to our store where stock can go missing or get taken. You charge me 75$ add when you delivery my shows for customs duties and tax but you never advise me before my purchase

Hi Luc, It states on our website under the international delivery section 'It is important to note that you may have to pay customs duties and taxes on the items you purchase and that these local fees are not included in your Norton Barrie invoice.' Unfortunately we can't control these charges and this money does not go to us. I'm very sorry you had to pay these. Kind regards Emma

Your order was dispatched on Monday which we assumed would get delivered on Wednesday however the strikes have delayed this. Hi Mohammed, I'm sorry that your package was damaged in transit. I can see from the images you have sent that the box and tissue paper were damaged however the item inside remained okay, we offered to send you a new box with tissue paper, or for you to return the item to us however due to the postal strikes you declined these offers as you wanted to keep the item for a gift so did not have enough time to return this. Offering you a new box and tissue paper, or offering you a return is the best solution we have for this matter, I'm very sorry you weren't satisfied with this. Kind regards Emma

Hi Derek, There have been delays across the whole week with Royal Mail deliveries due to them being on strike. Hi Maark, I'm very sorry to hear that you've not received your order yet. Unfortunately due to Royal Mail being on strike there have been a lot of delays with shipments across the whole week. Your order was dispatched on Friday which we assumed would get delivered on Monday or Tuesday however the strikes have caused further delays. We are currently in a contract with Royal Mail so were unable to use an alternative courier to deliver this quicker. HI Dylan, As you placed your order on the 22nd at 22:41, this was processed and dispatched on the 23rd. Unfortunately Royal Mail were on strike on the 24th and 25th, and subsequently are on strike again today and tomorrow, therefore there have been delays with parcels all over the country. This is out of our control however we are looking into alternative delivery methods for when Royal Mail are on strike. I'm sorry your delivery was delayed. Kind regards Emma

Rubbish company will not use again. Sent wrong size so had to send back which took ages to get there, instead of sending the size I wanted they have given refund Evan thought my size is in stock, 0 stars

Hi Craig, Regrettably the wrong size item was sent to you by mistake. We emailed you a free returns label and wrote to you in the email 'Please could you also note in the parcel that you received the wrong size item so the correct size can get sent out to you as soon as possible.' Unfortunately there was no note or any indication in your parcel or returns form that this was an incorrect size item received and you required a new one therefore the returns team opened this and processed you a full refund for the jacket. Hi Brad, Your order was placed on Thursday and shipped the same day using Royal Mails tracked 24 service. Unfortunately due to the strikes with Royal Mail there were no deliveries made on Friday therefore this was delayed to the following week as this service also does not include weekends. When looking through our emails there have been no emails from yourself regarding this matter, our email address is enquiries@nortonbarrie.co.uk. Hi Ian, We are sorry your package has gone a miss with Royal Mail. We sent the item out via their Tracked 48 service which does indeed need a signature. On Royal Mail, it states that the item has been signed for by COOPER and delivered at 13:25, Friday 29 July 2022 but in the meantime, we have raised a claim on your behalf within 2 hours of you emailing ourselves and are awaiting Royal Mails' response which can take up to 7 days. As soon as we receive a response from Royal Mail then we can potentially help you further. I am sorry you feel aggrieved by this but when an item is Signed for and states it has been delivered it can take a few days for an investigation to sort. Kind Regards Emma

Started off well then went to pot. Good site and prices / delivery etc. Bought the belt/ wallet set( Valentino) £55 . As a treat don’t usually spend this on a belt . But after 6 hrs the belt has broke . It’s riveted into place and it’s failed. Phoned Norton Barrie and someone was going to phone me back . Never did. Not into leaving reviews but no option . For such a expensive belt I expected better . I’ve had Next ones lasted ages. Makes me wonder if it’s counterfeit. No doubt will be chasing a refund or replacement. Such a shame as all started well. If Norton Barrie cared about it’s customers and returning customers then engaging in dialogue would be a bonus. Especially when I was told I would get a phone call later that day. Best of it is I work night shift and stayed up most of the day. Wanting this resolved and no doubt will leave great feedback instead of this one

Hi Glen, I feel this 1-star review is quite unfair considering you sent us a message on Friday evening at 6:45pm and we replied on Friday evening stating we will email Valentino on Monday and process a refund for you on Monday. To then leave a 1-star review on Sunday afternoon accusing us of selling counterfeit goods when a pair of sliders have broken is unfair and unjust.
