Saw Alan this morning took an x3 they had there for a test drive all well was given rhe usual talk about how great they were all fine car drove well, I liked the car and told Alan my husband would be in later to go through the paperwork side of things, he took my part x details and said he would call me within the hour to give me the numbers, great i thought good service, I went home 2 hours later a phone call to say "oh sorry I sold the car to a repeat customer " that's not good service at all we had started the process of buying the car and after spending some time looking for this one I was very relieved and felt in safe hands, they weren't they were pure greedy hands and that's not good service, Alan should have called me first to say there was someone else there and don't worry we will continue the process as you saw the car first. NOT GOOD SERVICE pure greed typical second hand car sales can't be trusted.

Hi Sophie, I am sorry that you feel we have been unfair to you. You mentioned that you wanted your husband to come and drive the car later today. I was in the process of pricing your part exchange. However, we had a customer come in to us approx 30 minutes after you left and they purchased the car. I called you as soon as I knew the situation. Again I apologise. Alan

Bought a mondeo of these guys 7 hour drive home faulty parking sensors park pilot car not clean (really filthy)promised it would have full valet before pick up . Told to bring car back for warranty work . Total cowboys don’t go near unless you very close to them because warranty not worth £0.01.

I bought a car from this garage the service was great. But so many things went wrong with it and I was constantly up at the garage. The main thing was the car drinks oil. Can’t even do a 1,000 miles and it’s empty. Was told that was in the normal range which is rubbish. The handbook says check the oil every 3,000 miles. Luckily now I’m buying another car from a different garage. I could never recommend this garage to anyone or buy another car from them.

I am an NHS doctor, and confidence in my vehicle is essential for my work and personal life. My NMJ pre-sale experience was good. 9 relatively minor issues with sub-optimal internal cleanliness and presentation of the car were addressed at my request before I purchase the car. An electronic fault was noted and reported within a week of purchase- NMJs suggested outcome was not feasible for logical reasons (they wanted a cheaper option for them which would cost me more re: resources), but it took a tense stand off for me to achieve a more workable solution. An awful experience for me to have to go through. 

I have serious concerns: with the transparency of NMJs salesmanship (discrepancies in sales patter vs reality of car’s history), NMJ after-sales care (which feels sub-optimal) and queries about the real value of the ‘warranty’ given it takes a tense stand off to achieve a reasonable solution re: the fault I noticed within 7 days of purchase. I have lost confidence in the credibility of a NMJ , and have had no choice but to get the car independently assessed for electronic and mechanical faults. I am looking into my legal options should more issues be identified. If I could do it again, I would not have bought this car form NMJ- confidence and peace of mind about your care is priceless.
 It’s a shame, but I wouldn’t buy from NMJ again, nor recommend this company to anyone. Confidence in someone or something is priceless. *I don't expect this review to be featured on the NMJ website- I imagine they will only put up positive ones. But this is a fair, honest and balanced review of my experience. And it's right that NMJ should receive the feedback

Disgusting after sales. They say they pride themselves in professionalism, but we experienced their senior sales director, Nick, have a showdown with us, in their forecourt, when he said ‘I don’t care if you don’t accept it’ - In relation to my objecting to the shoddy job they carried out on our car. Only after asking him to repeat what he said on record, did he realise how obnoxious that was, and agreed with me it fell below standard. This is the after sales service we got from NMJ after spending £20k with them. My wife left in tears, and in spite of an email to him, and the only other registered sales director, Alan, have not had a single courtesy call apologising for his antagonistic behaviour.

Without going into the issues with the car, which I now believe to be fully rectified please accept my apologies on behalf of all of us at NMJ Motorhouse Ltd. If you look at all our reviews they are all 5* Star and therefore the way your were treated is completely out of keeping with our Company ethics. - Again - we are very sorry.

Bought car which was in dealer warranty.my kid was in hospital and same time car got gear box issue . Asked for courtesy car which was denied and in that hard time when i needed the car most it was shocking for me Yes but if you can sell a car to me when i live four hours away then i expect you can live up to your words ‘dealer warranty’. Also you could of organised for me to get a car through a local car rental service, VW also had no vehicles available! For the cars price i expected better service.

We are really sorry that you are disappointed with the fact that we didn't supply you a courtesy car. Unfortunately you live approx. 4 hours from our premises and the practicality of getting a car to you during lockdown was very difficult. The car you purchased was still under manufacturers warranty and we advised that you took it to Volkswagen who we understand were unable to supply a car due to the pandemic. Test drove car, mentioned a minor issue with it and they said that unless its an MOT fail they wouldn't deal with it. Also, agreed a deal only for them to withdraw the deal due to my part-ex NOT having FSH. However, when I produced photographic evidence that it was all done by a reputable dealership, that still wasn't enough. I wouldn't buy a car off this dealership knowing what I know now...

Completely Satisfied with NMJ services. Robert had been excellent to deal with, lot of patience to answer inquiries and even agreed for a 2nd test drive. No pushy sales. Lots of options for used cars are available. This is my 1st purchase from here but hopefully in future as well. Recommend NMJ to every one.

Been really impressed with the service at NMJ. Michael has been informative, helpful and friendly throughout. I have returned again to buy my third car from NMJ and would recommend. Looking forward to driving away in my new car!
