I was a little sketchy initially, and found that re-sitting my test after a 3 year break was very testing! However, given that you are able to re-sit the test to enable you to correct any errors that you may have made, and have other different questions thrown in to test you even further, meant that the test was designed for maximum knowledge via this medium. Thumbs up from me!

Easy to follow, can break off part way through and come back to it. Only slight negative is that when tried to sign back in again it didn't recognise my correct password so had to reset it (twice). Exam questions/ possible answers are a bit ambiguous, but I assume they are meant to be.

Covered a good range of topics. The questions at the end of each module were poor quality - although very simple questions, the way they were asked was often very confusing. For example, a question about what food items go on which shelf, but the shelves were not numbered and it was unclear which item related to which shelf. I found the 'fill in the blanks' questions surprisingly difficult (as it wasn't the way I would have worded the sentences!), although the answers later seemed obvious. Also, when I typed some answers in, if there was a typo or worded slightly differently, it was incorrect and not recognised as an answer. The final 20 questions were also poorly written. I felt too many questions were about legal obligations/rules and not food safety, and were very confusing! Unclear about answers needed to be selected e.g. when multiple answers were correct.

The course was very informative and covered a lot of bases that contribute to the safe working of a kitchen, the business as a whole and the ibdividuals

The course glitched at module 7 and it made me take 2 modules from level 3, this wasted my time and I got very annoyed. In addition, I prefere to read the course myself and at my own pace and I find the slow paced reader makes me lose interest and thus not learn the information.

Could do in instalments, not all in one sitting.

The course was excellent but at no point did you warn me that your system is not compatible with Firefox so I have done the course twice - a big warning at the start would have been great.

A really poor piece of elearning. Too slow moving between screens. Some test questions ambiguous. I found this with all the elearning I’ve done with you. I’m an experienced elearning developer/writer and your courses don’t engage the learner and are frustrating because of the time it takes for the continue button to appear. I don’t know what software was used to create the courses but you need to change it. All your courses need rewriting with a focus on engaging the learner.
