The engineer did the job. Found what was wrong and put a new plug on the oven. The downside is threefold. An ordinary plug cost £7.80 with NAC. Plus the call out charge of £98. I could almost have got a new oven for that! I did try but the delivery date was inconvenient. Also the “window” for the engineer was too long - 5 hours (1-6pm). We had to drive to the holiday let (2 hours) to be there for 1pm and then wait 3 hours for the engineer to turn up. Also there was a lot of confusing Ai booking discussions (I booked for next day then the bot said go and book online again but online showed no tomorrow availability!) And a few confusing human phone calls as well - but at least there was a human there. Thus the three stars - work good but customer service bad.

Very efficient service to get an engineer to site. To repair my gas cooker was not easy so the engineer has to return with some new parts hopefully in near future. If and when the cooker fully works then Happy to give a 5 star rating.

Can't fault Charlie the engineer. I do think the way the advertising emphasises 'same or next day' is misleading - my oven broke on a Monday and the engineer couldn't come until Thursday, then he needed to order a part and come back the following week to fit it, which meant I was without an oven for a week and a half. I recognise that NAC probably has little control over how quickly parts can be acquired, but I'd encourage them to be a bit more honest about their service level estimates on their website if 'same or next day' is not actually what they can offer in most cases.

Unfortunately your engineer was unable to source the parts to repair my range cooker . He said he had tried but the parts are just no longer available.

Had to wait for part. Not sure if the engineer ran test programme. Dispenser did not open when I used machine and engineer didn't return my call when I phoned.Sent letter to customer service and awaiting reply.

Repair done by Nico on 8/4. Still waiting for copy of invoice receipt as none left, with breakdown of work carried out. £90 quote (pic attached) £157.10 paid (pic attached). Need paperwork for Accountant. Have telephoned and messaged twice now. Promised a copy would be sent to my email. Nothing sent to date. Please responsd ASAP.

As the engineer has yet to complete the work (came - looked - listened- decided it needed a new part so ordered one) the rating is middle. As again when the job is complete.

Expensive replacement parts (nearly double internet retail) & had to visit twice as replacement part was not on the van on first occasion. Did not ask for appliance model number.

We appreciate that on the odd occasion, customers like to compare prices of spare parts online. The problem here is that there are too many variants that are not considered and usually draw people to order either completely wrong, incompatible or faulty / used parts - We’ve seen this many times over the years. Comparing spare part prices from a service provider to prices of an online store will usually always be higher. A comparison can be made with a repair to a car - If you take your car to a garage for a new battery, the price you pay for the battery will likely be more than what you would pay at a random independent online store for the battery alone as the garage are providing the service (fitting and warranties) also. Unfortunately, what searching customers don’t realise, is that online retailers (including manufacturers websites) can sell parts at cheaper prices online as they are an online retailer and simply putting a part in a box and sending it, not providing you a service, nor a repair warranty. Our callout and labour rates in most instances, are less than half of manufacturers prices, which gets overlooked in these occasional situations. When we compare the total overall cost of a repair if you were to employ the services of the manufacturer for the service, we’re usually always the less expensive option when you look at the total bill, even if our part was more than their online store. We actively monitor spare part prices and we’re constantly focussed on keeping our callout and labour fees low so we’re always happy to see our many thousands of happy customers appreciate the overall quality of our service. Andrew came on time and identified the problem within minutes and advised that we needed to change three small 'O' ring washers, about 1 inch in diameter. All well and good until we reecieved the invoice for the parts. Three small washers - £32.80 and to rub salt into the wound, £9.40 delivery (these would easily fit into an envelope). Andrew was 5 star; the parts and delivery cost 1 star. I feel as if I have been well and truly shafted by NAC.

Would have given more stars, but for the fact the engineer didn't actually give me a price on the part installed until he had the back of the oven off,he then advised me it was going to be an expensive repair. It actually worked out that the part(being a fire safety device) was more expensive than the call-out and labor!!

Their technician was fine, response time was fine. The Mark up on the spare part that they bought from Neff to fix our oven was excessive (100 percent, i.e. they doubled the price). Also, had a particularly rude customer service agent, Michaela (spelling?) when I called their call centre. I even called out her rudeness to her which she just brushed away, not a very nice human being, let alone customer service agent.

Initial experience and confirmation of booking repair to mechanism of our "slide and hide" oven door, was excellent. However notification of subsequent delays in sourcing needed part, were not conveyed in a timely manner. Technician was able to complete repair when they eventually attended, ensuring we regained full use of our oven,

Efficient on site engineers supported by ‘could do better’ back office. Day1 Engage NAC Day 4 Engineer on site, needs to order part Day 10 Engineer back on site with part. Fitted job complete. Engineer appts are 4 hr window, needs to be better than that, say 1 hr window. NAC need to be more honest and upon paying for anything with them they should say “worst case you could be without a working appliance for 10 days” in this case I wouldn’t have used them.

The first problem was not telling your engineer what was the problem correctly so he came unprepared. Second visit had to be cancelled Third visit worked ok thanks.

Excellent quick service but only gave 3 stars as felt ripped off being charged £93 for 5 mins work which was a silly mistake on ours and no repair was needed.

We appreciate that on the odd occasion, especially when a repair visit concludes very quickly, some customers may be unhappy about paying for the visit in full however, the reason we offer a fixed service charge at the point of booking any visit is so that all of our customers have clarity on pricing so they know what they will pay, whether a visit is 6 minutes or 6 hours which is reassuring to most of our customers that labour charges will not rise throughout a repair. Engineer very efficient diagnosed problem with Miele washer - part required. I paid on the Monday and the part wasn’t fitted until Tuesday the following week. No update at all after placing order , it would be better if customer was kept upto date re progress of part and delay . We were recommended a service pack and paid for this but it was not supplied. I emailed customer services but as yet have had no reply. Overall disappointing although work performed by engineer was excellent
