I have been extremely unimpressed by the dysfunction of the application process over the past week and will be seeking compensation for the time and money it has cost me. Not only was I told on numerous occasions that the finances would be sent to the dealer in time prior to my collection of the vehicle on Friday, September 8 2023, but I was also told the morning of. This date of collection had been known of at the start of the application process on Tuesday. In preparation, my partner and I had already pre-bought train tickets so that I could collect the car on this day over 200 miles from my home. Then on the morning of the collection date, I was told that the funds "might" be in the account by the time I reached the dealer, only to be told by the dealer that the funds had not been transferred when I arrived in Newcastle. Now without a car, me and my partner have had to spend more money on additional train tickets back home during rush hour. The dealer himself has also assured me that he has also experienced the same dysfunction from your sales team and finance department this week and has encouraged me to seek compensation.

There were some issues with the lender's e-Sign which did unfortunately lead to a delay in payout. We do advise customers that arrangements for collection of the vehicle should only be made following confirmation of payout, as there may be instances where transfer of funds to the dealer is delayed. Worst experience of my life! Still not received my vehicle. My 14 days have started on the finance return policy and my vehicle (which I haven’t seen yet) will be ready at best 11/12 days into my 14 days. Giving me 2/3 days to make a rushed decision on if I want this vehicle. Been lied to multiple times by my car credit and the company’s they work with. Would NOT recommend to anyone!

They have misleading information and made false promises about timelines. They then didn't take ownership to reduce the impacts of that. At various points they claimed the dealer had been paid when they hadn't. Initially they said that everything should be sorted within a day, then it was to be 24 hours, then it was to be up to another 24 hours and then another day too. I had emails texts and calls that all conflicted.

Absolutely shocking! Brianna, from mycarcredit was wonderful and needs mention as being fantastic. However, the "approved dealer" is a complete disappointment. I haven' heard from them even though my finance was approved 10 days ago. I have had to call repeatedly to find out when I can collect the vehicle, only to be given one excuse after the next and promised a call, but have yet to get that call. I suggest you look at who your approved dealers are, because I had to settle on a car which wasn't the best price or lowest mileage because it had to be one of yours, but I haven't heard from them, have heard every excuse, and am now wondering if this is all a scam, or if the vehicle is in such bad condition that I was mislead. I am cancelling the whole transaction and will go elsewhere where I can hopefully finance a vehicle I can actually collect before I start paying for it.

10 days ago I have paid deposit for car, 5 days ago I was approved and direct debit setup, received the email saying everything is done. Today I was told I can pick up the car later. Received a call saying that I can't pick up the car and they can't tell me when I will pick up the car.

5 days since I was approved, direct debit setup, received the email saying everything is done and yet I don't have the car, today been told that I will definitely have the car, after few hours received a phone call saying that I won't have the car and they don't know when I will have the car. Forgot to mention that deposit for car was paid 10 days ago.

Process started well however 2.5 weeks later the dealer has still not received the funds so I am unable to collect the car. Funds were released on Saturday, not received on the Monday. Then told on Tuesday the money hadn’t been released on Saturday but was done on Monday. Yet the dealer has still not received the money. despite calling multiple times for updates and an eta. I have heard nothing from My Car Credit.

Terrible company, IT doesn't work and when you call to discuss they cut you off and refuse to take a complaint or let you speak to a manager (CEO doesn't exist apparently!) No response to written complaint and no explanation as to abusive nature of their staff! Would leave zero stars if that were possible

Once again I come here to complain about this company, I’ve cancelled the loan with less than 14 days period, was within 12 days period from the dates that I’ve signed the contract. The reason why I’ve cancelled was because they have done two credit checks in my name and at the end the dealer have already sold the car, so if I was going to chose another car the was going to do a 3rd credit check. So I’ve cancelled everything. After a week that I’ve cancelled it was still saying in my reports that I “had the money” I’ve contact Santander finance team and they told me that it was still active that they didn’t had no information about me cancelling the loan. So that means this company is absolutely unresponsive, they haven’t contacted Santander to inform them that I’ve cancelled the loan, and it’s been now two weeks and some days that “my car finance” doesn’t have any information about my case, that they are still waiting to the “dealership” to “accept” that I’ve cancelled the Loan. A dealership that I’ve sold the car that I wanted, that I haven’t signed any contract with them. So guys don’t you ever go with this company in case if you decide to cancel the loan or change car. They are terrible resolving your problem. If I didn’t called Santander, they would still take money from my bank account on the 27th of this month. I’ve cancelled the loan on the 11th of October. Lucky me that Santander changed the date until the 28th of November so “my car finance” inform them that I’ve cancelled and they are happy to cancel that. Worse thing that I’ve even done in my life.

I’m actually really upset and angry with everything. If I new that you guys would take so long to change a car that I’ve chosen (a car that I haven’t even send face to face, when I did saw I didn’t like the car). So guys just in case if anyone is looking to take a finance with them, make sure you go to the dealer and see the car first before calling the credit finance to add your car, because they take ages to change just the car details, to the car that you want. The credit finance have deposit the money to the dealer and the car that I wanted was with the same dealer and the amount was the same, so all they had to do is contact the finance department to change the car details and send me the new cantava with the details of the new car. Now they are getting the money back from the dealer so they can do a new documents and then send the money back again to them. So be in mind that in cause by any change you decide that you don’t like the car, they are not as helpful and quickly as they was at the first time time. It’s going to be a week that I’ve decided to change the car and every day I have to give them a call to know what’s going on. And they don’t seem to help and do anything about it. It’s really frustrating. If they don’t resolve by the end of this week I will cancel all the loan. So guys don’t go as far to find a car get a car local to you, so you can see the car before agreeing to anything

Not happy about it, because I went to get the car, and I didn’t like the car. So the agency told me to contact again with my car credit. My car Credit told me to re do a new application form, they’ve said they would try to speak with Santander to change the car over to the new car that I like which is with the same company. The money from the loan is already with the company and they are taking so long to just to change over the car. The amount of money is the same, and the only thing that they should do is just to get me a new agreement. But they want to take the money over again, so they can send it back again to the car company for the new car.

Bought a car online via Evolution Funding. Car broke down 2 days after leaving the showroom. I returned the car and opted to reject the goods and the finance which was well within the 14 days cooling off period. Evolution never helped, they simply passed the problem and said it’s not their problem. By the way I still don’t have the car, the dealer is apparently still fixing it, it’s been 36 days now. I say apparently because there has been zero communication from anyone. I will never use Evolution Funding, friendly at the start but terrible after sales service. I hope no one else got out like I did

We have been able to establish that given the circumstances, you have been advised correctly to contact your lender and open a complaint with them. As your finance agreement is with them and not with us as the broker, we are unable to assist with any issues that may arise once the agreement has been completed. For me at was a really bad experience that caused a lot of stress They never informed me that the dealership i chose was rejected by them, in the meantime i have paid a deposit for the car which was non refundable. I had to opt out, and this created a lot of stress because I had to urgently find another loan in order not to loose my deposit. Communication wasn't great at all.

We have looked at your application and it appears that you wished to take out finance on behalf of another person - referred to as an accommodation deal. Even where a customer can afford finance on behalf of another person, accommodation deals are not supported by any of our lenders due to their high risk to both you and them. Absolutely shocking service, was told to e sign a document so that I can go and view a car, they’ve then proceeded to put this car on my credit file even though I declined the car. Now that this is on my credit file they still won’t admit fault for this and I have been waiting for 12 days for an email confirmation to confirm I do not have finance on this vehicle. Poor from start to finish, quick to take a sale but don’t want to know when you have a complaint to make. Shocking.
