“The main problem I had was identifying a part on the website which seemed a bit misleading. I got it wrong twice! The guys on the phone were great at sorting out the issue though!”

“Nice people to do business with, the first chap I spoke with seemed a little lacking in knowledge, but struck gold on the second call and was advised to order online to facilitate a tracking service for my order which was for a mild steel exhaust centre-section and back box for 2004 Mk2.5. Delivery in 3 days and I passed it over to my mechanic for fitting with replacement Cat as the original was stolen. My mechanic reported that it proved very difficult to obtain a seal between Cat and mid-section, indeed the car had to be returned for a refit before it sealed properly. He also mentioned that it was very tight to the underside of the car in places and I have noticed the odd knock from underneath since fitment. Vehicle has now done about 150 miles and it is a bit louder and raspier than the original system which was still like new after 19 years - what wasn't stolen anyway. I obviously can't speak for the longevity of the new system, but if you like your exhaust to sound a bit raspier than standard this may suit you.”

“First buying experience with mx5parts, exported to France after brexit. Was actually lucky as customs didn't ask for any fee. Didn't install the mx5 weatherstrip yet but they were well protected inside a poster-like tube.”

“5 stars, all good ! If you need anything for your MX-5, it is the best place to be. Just know, if you are in France like I am, you will have to pay customs fees. (about 20% of the price).”

“I had some troubles with my delivery, it took 7 weeks from UK to Austria. The problem was probably at the customs. So no complaints about mx5parts. Support by email was perfect, each time with a quick response.”
