“I have bought lots of dvds from Magpie, the delivery can be a little slow, but all good items when received. However the last order I placed on 28th August has still not arrived (21st September), despite emailing to chase, which is frustrating”

“I'd waited month for a package (as it's taken that long to appear from MM before now). The guy I spoke to was very apologetic & refunded the package there & then.. Can't fault that”

“I have only ever sold them CDs from our Charity shop. I have to say that over the years, the price offered has dropped significantly, some only paid 1p for!”

“Sent in my xbox, old xbox games and DVDs, packaged them up and took them to the post office with the label provided. A couple of days later I got confirmation that my items had been received and received the money about a week after. Service could have been a bit faster.”

“I had read the reviews on here after I'd sent my cds and dvds and started to worry..but to my suprise I received an e mail informing me they'd got my stuff and then a couple of hours later another email informing me they'd sent payment and would be cleared the next day..well today my payment is in and full amount. .I don't know if I'd had a fluke with them but the only problem I had was first collection driver didn't show up but i rebooked and driver collected next day!!”

“I bought an IPhone 5s for my wife which was in very good condition and arrived promptly. On the quality of this I bought a Samsung S5 Neo for myself. I was offered £53 for my Samsung S3 that I was selling. I noted that the S3 was in the same condition as the S5 Neo I had received from them. (There was damage to the edges on both phones). The S3 had a screen protector since purchased. I sent the S3 in the original box. I felt that their sales department deserved 5 stars. The S3 was in the same condition as the S5 I had received from them. However I was disappointed to find that they offered me £31 on receipt of my S3. I think I would have got a better price at Cash Generators (especially with the original box). I will continue to consider MM for purchasing goods but will never sell to them again.”
