“I have bought models from this store & every time it’s been a flawless experience, however this time it’s been a week since my order has been sent according to my emails, yet I have not heard anything from the mail service, nor is it possible to track & trace my order. Any reasoning would be greatly appreciated”

Hi Finn, We're sorry to hear that your order was delayed. This order was placed on Wednesday the 31st; we shipped this as soon as possible on the next working day. Unfortunately due to the Royal Mail strikes and recent bank holiday, we have seen delays to UK post. Dispatch was made via second class post as chosen by you, for which we quote an estimated delivery date of 3-5 working days on our website. Further to this, we do have a banner on the top page of our website, advising of the strike action and to expect delays. We do offer a next working day delivery service which is purchasable at checkout, this is provided by DPD and as such would avoid such delays for future reference. Kind regards Mini Model Shop

Hi Edward, We're sorry to hear that your order was delayed. This order was placed on a Bank holiday Monday, so we shipped this as soon as possible on the next working day. Unfortunately due to the Royal Mail strikes, Royal Mail was already dealing with a backlog, before another strike last Wednesday which added to this. Dispatch was made via first class post as chosen by you, which we quote an estimated delivery date of 1-3 working days on our website. “When asked what he would like for his birthday my Husband replied, “a Kawasaki Z900”, so I bought him the model as a joke! Obviously he’d really love the real thing but seeing the smile on his face when he opened it was priceless. It’s now got pride of place on his office desk. Ordering process was quick and easy and item was delivered in just a few days. I have a very happy husband.”
