“The cakes were for my family who live in Suffolk. They found the ginger cake top really tangy and a little bit too dry. They all loved the lemon cake.”

“The service was excellent and the brownie tray bake was absolutely delicious. A little bit of dark chocolate offset the sweetness perfectly. We also had the Bakewell traybake but we were a little disappointed with the lack of almond flavour and not quite enough jam. Would definitely recommend but wouldn’t have the Bakewell again.”

“I bought a special edition coffee and walnut cake for a birthday at book club. It was well received and the flavour excellent. But the cake was a bit dry and the birthday girl felt some filling would have made this tasty cake first class.”

“Lovely cake but felt it was a bit small for price. However not aware of ingredients and they may be very expensive and must justify price. Lucky to get 6 servings from the cake. Well packaged and presented and tastes lovely.”

“Great service, beautiful looking cake. It tasted fine, oddly it was better tasting after about 5 days, it had matured! I bought this year as I was unable to make my own. This is not as good as homemade but it is a very good substitute. I would not put anyone off purchasing next year.”
