“Lovely cake but felt it was a bit small for price. However not aware of ingredients and they may be very expensive and must justify price. Lucky to get 6 servings from the cake. Well packaged and presented and tastes lovely.”

“Great service, beautiful looking cake. It tasted fine, oddly it was better tasting after about 5 days, it had matured! I bought this year as I was unable to make my own. This is not as good as homemade but it is a very good substitute. I would not put anyone off purchasing next year.”

Hi Heather Thanks so much for taking the time to post a review - I'm so pleased you have enjoyed the cakes. The plastic packaging we use to void fill in the parcels is a by-product from wrapping our cakes. I hope this goes some way to explain the logic. The plastic can be recycled at most supermarkets. “The order process was did not go smoothly with my request for DPD Named Day delivery not being recorded and email exchanges with Customer Service were very direct and to the point with no nicities such as an apology for the invonvenience. All was sorted out and the cake arrived on time and was very much appreciated by the recipient.”
