“I fell in love with Me+Em with my first delivery. The quality is excellent, the styles are upbeat but still sophisticated and I wear the pieces I’ve purchased especially when traveling bc they are so versatile and comfortable! I have three complaints however: 1) the packaging is flimsy and the box is ALWAYS DAMAGED, torn, open! I truly am astounded that everything I ordered actually stayed in the box! Stores like Saks and Neiman have excellent packaging that never arrives damaged— your box needs to be upgraded to a heavier cardboard. 2)Most everyone I order from offers free shipping and returns except you! I’m waiting! 3) I have never been offered any kind of discount code despite spending $$$$! I keep waiting and watching, but there is NEVER one offered.”

“I am 5’10” and I love all the maxi dresses, finally a designer who understands the beauty of a long flowing dress. Thank you! My only suggestion would be to make the drop of the waist from shoulder to waist long enough. I have long legs and a long body and sometimes the waist band feels too high. I love the elastic cuffs, the puffy arms, the masses of material in the full skirts, the attention to detail. If I am paying these prices I want to see the extras and plenty of them. I like that these dresses feel qualitative. Comfort is also very important so I like the elastic details in the waist area and only order a dress that I can sit comfortably in all day long and into the evening. I have given 4 stars because sometimes the sizing is a little on the small size and not consistent.”

“I am a big fan of ME+EM clothes, especially their autumn and winter collections. Good quality fabrics and lovely colours (I never wear black). I have been disappointed with the 2 summer dresses I have purchased - colour bleaching out patchy on one plain blue dress and the fabric bobbling up on another. I am also a bit over the floral maxi dress look. My slight frustration is that as a blonde, pale-skinned woman they never seem to use models that look like me, which can make it difficult to determine whether things will suit me from the internet, so I do end up returning quite a lot of things.”

“I’ve been buying from Me+Em for years now and have had some lovely clothes, all of which have worn & washed well. My main gripe is the sizes in that they are quite large so not really true to size, particularly in the length (we’re not all model sizes!). However I can’t fault the quality of the clothes, and I’ve always found the customer service to be spot-on, especially with regard to delivery and returns. They are still my go-to brand, although on the expensive side!”

“I love the clothing and I I think the shipping time is great. However I think the sizing is a little inconsistent and the return process takes FOREVER(I live in the States) I love how measurements are given for garments to help with the sizing but that doesn’t always translate to the reality of the garment when you get it. But overall, great quality fabrics and the styles work pretty well for my older body.”

“I am OBSESSED with Me+Em. I love love love their clothing. The only wrinkle is that I live in the US and I not infrequently run into issues with customs. I keep trying to find a US-based clothing company that I love as much as Me+Em so that I don't have to deal with the customs hassles, and I just haven't found one that compares. (The customs issues is why I gave 4 stars rather than 5).”

“Quality, style and craftsmanship are excellent. Order process was seamless and returns very easy. My only disappointment is the sizing. I have ordered sweaters and they are true to size but all 3 dresses I purchased were almost 2 sizes too big.”

“I love these clothes and feel like the delivery to the US doesn't take too long. i did have a problem with a garment that frayed on the bottom and they would not allow me to return for credit - they insinuated that i had "tampered with the garment"...i had NOT! i had to lose the garment and my $$$. i have continued to shop with them and really enjoy each piece i own.”

“Good online service, including returns; service a bit patchy in the London stores. Quality of clothes is very good. The simpler trousers, t-shirts and jumpers are the best. I find some of the dresses and shirts are too frilly and flouncy. Also would welcome more thought being given to catering for petite women.”

“You get what you pay for. I carefully choose ‘forever clothing’ as I abhor fast fashion. The quality is second to none, and I enjoy mixing and matching separates to create a new look. The cuts are always flattering and I am always complimented when I wear Me+Em. I did, however, return a leather bomber jacket, as it was impossible to get my hands in the pockets. This was completely out of character for the brand. Perhaps my torso was longer than average? I will continue to buy this brand all my life. The only thing I don’t appreciate (although it’s not the expense, but the concept) is that we have to pay for regular shipping. Thank you, Clare and the team for producing quality, fashionable pieces which I will enjoy for many years!”

“The styles and sizing are perfect for me. Visuals are very true to what is delivered and materials actually come out even better than the visuals. Clothing pieces are easy to mix and match and are mostly classic which is great for a long wear wardrobe. Always looking forward to next printed catalogue - unusual today but very appreciated. Returns are easy and being paid promptly. Left off one star purely for the pricing as it is expensive but in ME+EMs case you get what you pay for and therefore I will continue to be a customer”
