“Thanks to Staff at McNeela who fixed the Cork joint on my daughters flute the other day. My husband popped in with it and the lady repaired it there and then and gave advice re use of flute oil etc for my 12 yr old. Always guaranteed to fix a problem. Previously repaired my sons key on his Concertina. Great service on all instruments purchased with them. Many thanks we have a flute , Banjo and Concertina in this house from McNeela. Can’t recommend them enough for follow up service. Aisling O’Sullivan and family”

“The Wild whistles are great, I have bought two up to now (D, Bb)and they have been great, and I will probably buy the C sometime in the future. It would be good if they made some low whistles as a low is something I would be looking to move to in the future. Bit slow at responding to emails, but I can accept that as long as they do answer sometime.”

“I am really pleased with the tone of the flute and overall I feel thrilled with the build quality. However, when it arrived the head joint fit felt far too tight, although this could have been the humid environment here in Wellington, NZ. After some careful sanding, it fits perfectly now. I realize this may void some potential warranty repairs, however, I'm confident it will last a long time :).”

“This may be an unusual review but I think it is an important one. I recently ordered a Wren Concertina. Like most customers, I was very excited about getting my purchase and get started. playing The concertina arrived on time (~16 days to US) and appeared in good shape. Over the next several weeks I ran into a significant number of issues with whistling, sticking keys, chipping paint, etc. All in all I was exceptionally disappointed with the instruments quality and playability. It just did not meet my expectations. HOWEVER, and this is the critical piece. Along the way I was in contact with McNeela and Aaron in particular, I was guided through several options to try to fix my issues, provided links to walkthroughs on repairs, was sent a set of replacement springs and just generally well taken care of from a customer service point of view. Ultimately I decided that the Wren that I received was simply unworkable for me. Aaron helped every step of the way to assist with processing my return and a prompt refund and quality service in every interaction I had. Dealing with a disappointed and frustrated customer is never easy, doing it well is the hallmark of a class organization. While I ultimately returned my instrument and was issued a refund I can simply say that Aaron and the team saved the day. While they may have 'lost' the sale they certainly won the relationship and will certainly have more business from me in the future. I cannot complement him enough on his positive, helpful and thoughtful service and making the situation right. Solid customer service and a better team behind it!”
