“The workmanship of the instrument is not appropriate for the price. Metal plates are glued together, which makes repairing them very difficult if they malfunction. I am very disappointed. Might as well have bought cheap Chinese junk on Amazon. Will stay away from MC Neela and possibly give up the instrument.”

“I purchased a McNeela Phoenix concertina and I’ve been pleased with it thus far! The concertina malfunctioned a month after I purchased it but McNeela stood behind their product and repaired it at no cost to me. They refunded my shipping cost and quickly returned the instrument once repaired! I admire their customer service and warranty. I’ll be a customer for life 🙂. I do wish the Phoenix was available with the shiny metal end plates like the Swan, maybe that could be an option upon purchase in the future!! Cheers, Adam from Kentucky!”

“I ordered 2 Wild Irish Whistles and when they arrived, found it the intonation was bad on both. It took several messages back and forth, lots of prodding for information to finally find out there was an issue with the entire batch of whistles. So, apparently there is no quality check on intonation. I did get a full refund and didn’t have to send the whistles back, which was a plus. I needed them for recording so they needed to be absolutely in tune. I hope others who bought from that batch were contacted and provided with replacements that were in tune.”
