“Wonderful! Fast delivery, great quality, couldn’t be happier. We ordered the clave along with a beater and tipper for my husband’s birthday, for more variety when he plays bodhran. The same bodhran I purchased from McNeela over 20 years ago for yet another birthday present. And I’m happy with my present- Fintan Vallely’s Complete Guide to Learning the Irish Flute. “I was skeptical to order an instrument from so far away but went with my gut and am very happy I did so. It’s amazing that a violin from Dublin made it to the US just a wee bit out of tune! The instrument itself is absolutely gorgeous, it has a rich dark finish and it has a deliciously warm sound. The expert craftsmanship makes it easy to perform double stops and although I had some questions, the team in McNeela was responsive and incredible to work with.”

“This was a really lovely whistle. When I first started playing, I shied away from spending money on a real quality instrument without knowing how much I would end up playing it. Eventually, I decided that the Wild Irish Whistle was still quite reasonably priced--and I'm blown away at the value! The tone is absolutely beautiful. I used to wince and procrastinate practice sessions out of consideration for my neighbors, but I could play this whistle all day long. So worth the price and I only wish I had gotten one sooner. It has a nice weight and appearance, as well, and the shipping process was quick and secure.”
