“I have used E-Bike for many years and they have always been competitive paying around £180 for my Triumph 1600 Thunderbird. This year they increased the premium without any explanation even when contacted specifically to almost £800. I had not made any claims or had a conviction. My MCN Compare listed 41 quotes. All except E-Bike were under £200. E-Bike was quote no: 41 at £821. I chose Carole Nash as the best all round for me. I fail to understand how a specialist motorcycle insurer can price themselves out of the market. So MCN worked for me but helped by E-Bikes outrageous renewal quote.”

“having being with Bennetts for a few years i recently received my renewal quote for over £220. Bennetts must have their big head stuck in the sand. using gocompare im now with MCE saving over £120. no contest for a policy that matched Bennetts. ive complained to Bennetts by email and filling in a Bennetts on line survey and have not received a reply. no loyalty is shown to customers of long standing. a big thanks to gocompare!”

“I have used MCN compare for the last three years and for two different bikes. I have found it is easier to use than other sites and the results are much clearer and easier to compare. Overall I have saved around £600. Each time a renewal is due I find that I can improve on the renewal price and often get better conditions than I am offered by my existing insurer. One tip though, always phone up the insurer to make sure they've got the right details I've put in. Once this even got me a bit more off the price too.”

“As we all know most insurance companies only give great deals to new policies. I have yet to be offered a better deal renewing than starting a new policy. Well worth the 10 minutes online I saved £80 straight away . Loyalty isn't a consideration for these people.”

“I was unable to purchase insurance for the price given. I don't know where MCN Compare get their prices from? Once I selected the cheapest quote, I was taken to that cheapest companies website, where the price was much higher! I checked this throughout MCN Compare's list of prices, and all where higher than originally stated.”
