“I have used the site for a number of years and I have always managed to get a better quote than my renewal. I would have normally given the site 5 stars. This year my first comparison give me a fantastic new quote from my current insurer. Unfortunately when trying to act on this, my insurer failed to honour this quote and then removed all quotes for my bike. I am fully aware that this isn't a problem with MCN Compare directly, but it did cause me a lot of issues renewing my insurance. Should MCN Compare make the companies that use their service honour quotes? I think they quite possibly should. The second quote in the list was still a little cheaper than my renewal. But I really didn't need the stress!”

“Renewed my motorcycle insurance policy via mcn compare as my existing renewal company wanted another 20%. Ended up using Bennetts and saved 5% from my existing policy, that's a 25% saving. So each year need to compare quotes as most companies just load the premiums when it comes to renewal, just shows being an existing customer doen't mean a thing.”

“Worked well and I got good quotes. Only issue I have is that my chosen insurer didn't honour the price quoted because "some search sites don't collect all the necessary information". This is more an issue with the insurer tha the site - surprising as they sponsor BSB...”

“Good comparison site. Only problem is that when you select the company you want, the information they download from the MCN compare website is changed in one or two key areas, which means you have to contact them by phone. This conversation is then used to bump the price up.”

“I'd been with my previous insurance company for about 4 years, but when I got the renewal and it had gone up again (even thou I've had no claims for 5 years) I thought I'd go back to see what the market had to offer. As I got my first insurance quote through MCN, I thought I'd give them another go. I managed to save over £95 (and have more cover added as standard to the policy).”
