“Very poor They asked for proof of no claims so I sent them the details of who I was insured with which was the AA but clearly this was not good enought, we kept going back a fourth getting no where so I decided to cancel the insurance and go back to the AA....... Then they insisted that I pay the insurance in full. Stay away!!!!!!!!!”

“MCN use your details to pass onto a select number of companies who call within seconds of you receiving their quotes. A promise is made to beat any of the online quotes received and then proceed to ask the same questions you took the time to fill out during your application. Naturally their price comes out higher but they comsume about 45 minutes of your time no benefit I strongly advise you not to use this company .... they waste your time and exploit your application”

“Filled in all the details as usual for a comparison site and got the quotes back, but when i clicked through on 2 of the quotes the price went up £35 and £50 respectively. I rang both companies and they said they were not responsible for the quotes on the site MCN were. Also there is nowhere on MCN to record extra qualifications like IAM test etc”

“Absolutely pathetic, awerful service. Was charged £203.00 to cancel my insurance when it was a £600 policy. They only use one form of contact and a threatening text to say I have 8 hours to pay the cancellation fee. Do not use!!”

“Awful experience don't waste your time two days trying to get a quote sat on hold for ages promised the earth never call you back when they say they will and then the quote is through the ceiling. I will stick with Carole Nash !”

“Ridiculously priced. Poorly worded and ambiguous questions resulting in premiums doubled by a nasty underwriter. Really not happy with the customer service and how this was done overall.”

“Quoted c. £200. By the time the insurance company had finished it was £300. ( pillion and other things were extra) Needed it quickly so couldn't be bothered to argue. Won't be using them again.”

“All quotes were the most expensive by far compared to the well know comparison sites. After realising this I used the others and got a great deal. However I was constantly pestered by your sales team for weeks after by phone asking if I had sorted my Insurance, most were very rude and even had one young lady just hang up on me when trying to explain to her they couldn’t help me. Clearly bonus target driven staff with zero interest in actually trying to help!!! Try harder please it was a very disappointing experience and to be honest you should be the go to company for most bikers not the other online sites.”

“Terrible communication, very poor customer service. I did not fill in the form with correctly but it went thru and they took my money. Apparently, I should have logged on to an account I did not have and got fined when they cancelled my policy after only 10 days, which they then had 2 charges for. They were very unfair. Subsequently I found another company Bennetts, cheaper- with better coverage”

“Getting questioned about irrelevant things all the time, price not competitive at all, threatening with voiding my policy over made up issues. Definitelly would not pay out if anything was to happen.”

“I did an honest mistake on my application related to no bonus claim (MCN was after recent one from last 2 years and I had my previous bikes insured over 3 years ago). I paid around £350 for annual policy. After that they questioned my no bonus claim as being invalid (rightly so) and recalculated my policy. Now they demanded over £800... I obtained new quotations based on zero years of no claim bonus and I got quotes from various providers for around £200 e.g. from Carole Nash. So MCN £800 was way above what was available on the market. I decided to cancel my policy with them but then they demanded £65 cancellation fee plus £32 for my bike being insured with them for only 6 days... No flexibility or a good will - once you pay them you are trapped. Besides no claim bonus saga they questioned lots of other things including the date my driving licence was issued, bike model etc. I spent overall over 2 hours on the phone with them and received over 10 emails within 2 days with various demands to provide more and more details. Lots of hassle, dishonest quotations based on thin air. Again, I did honest mistake not reading small print on their application but it costed me £97 to leave them. I would not recommend this company.”

“Tripled the price because I moved overnight place for bike, so wanted me to pay or leave insurance, decided to leave, so they charged me for £32+ for 6 days and £65 cancellation fee. Theft.”

“In a word….Useless. Took my details incorrectly, took 2 previous claims incorrectly, took my bike storage incorrectly, took my security incorrectly. The upshot was an expensive bunch of quotes, which I stupidly thought were accurate as I assumed MCN had done their job accurately. I only found out when I took out a policy ( via MCN ) and then read my insurance documents to reveal the extent of the inaccurate details. Rather than the advertisement states if a cheaper quote, mine was about double and now I’m stuck with it for 1 year as it will cost me more to cancel and take out again without using MCN as an intermediary.”

“Typical price comparison site.... Reel you in with a really low offer, you think its great and click to buy only to find the price is nearly double the original quote.... What a joke, shame its not remotely funny though.”
