“I tried to add a Honda CB1000F to an existing policy, but the insurer said that I needed an existing no-claims-bonus for them to insure the bike. The broker couldn't find me another insurer for less that £300 and change, so I searched the internet and stumbled upon MCN Compare. The results were good with many sub £300 offers and one outstanding insurer offering comprehensive cover at less than £200. I am with that insurer now and will look to move my original insurance policy to the new insurer as soon as it expires. The presentation of the results made my choice very easy.”

“I got a good result from the insurance comparisons but had a few problems with the data correctly flowing from MCN to the Insurance company when I purchased. MCN could not provide me with the data I said I had entered even when I gave the correct references. It cost me £15 to get my policy corrected (I could have just cancelled within the 14 days but I would have had to start all over again). MCN should send you a complete copy of ALL details you entered to get the quote when requested. I will be following this up as the rules of Insurance are that you must be able to recreate the outcome OR save a exact copy of the decision process if challenged on treating the customer fairly. I couldnt get the same outcome and I couldnt get an exact copy of my inputs”
