“Extremely helpful and down to earth. Didn't have a clue how or what to measure when I bought the laminate stairs kit but the guy explained everything to me in simple terms. Looks fantastic. Will definitely buy from Maxwells DIY in the future ?”

“The goods required were available, unlike other outlets such as my local B&Q and garden centres. The price was competitive and following the order & payment the delivery was as promised on the next day, which is excellent, so thank you for that. The downside, I failed to place the order on two occasions as your computer sytem had to rectified and updated and on the third attempt a very helpful and friendly lady member of your staff took my order & payment, again thank you to that lady. By the way my name is Michael Deiniol & not Beiniol, no problem, just a typying error.”

“The service and and delivery was very good The tin of paint i received however was not the paint that was advertised on Ebay. This paint tin was shown as white Satin only without a mid sheen finish .This mid sheen is a paint that i could have bought at any shop at home . I,m still looking for this non mid sheen white paint. Disappointed Harry Thompson”

“I haven't used the tool yet that was purchased from maxwells yet that was a black and decker hand held spray paint unit so This is why I gave a 4, but the delivery time was spot on and they kept me up to date throughout its journey. So very efficient.”

“This was the third time I had ordered from Maxwells DIY this year using their local delivery service for heavy goods, all of the orders have been delivered on time and I've only had one minor problem with a wrong item being sent which was resolved without issue. I chose Maxwells because their delivery charge for heavy goods is cheaper than other companies offering the same service and I'll be ordering from them again so long as there are no major increases on that delivery charge. One thing I think they could improve on is their communication because I received no updates on my orders or notifications on what day & time my orders would be delivered. I would also like to add that the delivery driver was very polite and helpful.”

“Products at a good price. Good communications regarding order. Well packaged. Only downside is Yodel as currier used, and I had issues with them delivering my order (seems to be common with Yodel).”

“I ordered 3 tins of varnish only one arrived but had invoice for 3 when I phoned to chase it up they had only sent one because they had run out but had just received it in that morning. And told me I would receive it the following day Saturday but I didn't it came today Monday stamped 48 which I presume meant 48 hour delivery so I wasn't ever going to receive it on the Saturday. It is a shame that all they had needed to do was include a slip with my original order to say other two would be delivered soon. Not tried the varnish yet so can only presume it is ok. I will use this company again”

“As a first time buyer from Maxwell's DIY, and not knowing the name as i'm down in London I was unsure of the quality to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised with the items ordered when they arrived, as for the price of the items purchased, excellent ! The only downside was that the delivery arrived one day later then expected. Overall 8/10”

“Good product value! Good range of products. Down side is the next day delivery did not work and I had to phone them to find out when the delivery will be made. It may be courier's fault and not the company.”

“I bought this device wanting to spray my garage internal walls as I was finding using a brush was taking up time. I did try to confirm if it would be suitable with the paint I was using and was told it be fine, however it wasn't all that great unless watered down. First time use I couldn't get it working until I pumped water through it. Once I worked out what the best consistency was it works really well, sadly not as good as I hoped for the task I am dealing with but I can see it working perfect for food or flat surface jobs. Nice bit of kit in all fairness, but I don't think it is suitable for Masonary work as it suggests. I will be using it on Fences, Wood work I need spraying in the future and based on spraying over some wood and flat items it seems to be perfect.”
