“From the initial contact through to the actual relocation, all the staff at Matthew James were extremely helpful and professional. I chose to have the packing service and Michael did an exemplary job on his own in packing all my belongs quickly and efficiently. He was great. On the day of the move (from Kent to Somerset) everything went smoothly and the Michael (again) and Matt unloaded quickly and placed my items in the new house on instruction with great care. Do not hesitate to use Mathew James for your move.”

“I have used Matthew James relocation service twice. I find them professional, both in the office and on the road. The driver has always kept in touch of the arrival time, they have been very fast and efficient workers and clearly know their business. I will use their service again in the future.”

“Moving from Spain to UK was as I thought to be difficult and stressful. Contacted Matthew James and with their help Michael who was helpful and explained all that would be done including how payment was made. Day of removal three removal guys arrived packed everything from cupboards mirrors to the minute objects. After storing for a few weeks was then delivered to the house where two removal guys unpacked. I thought I had a glass table top missing and hoover broken but with a telephone call Mr.James was down found the glass top and repaired the hoover at the same time took the empty boxes etc away with him. For their helpfulness courteous would I recommend this Company yes most definitely.”

“I have used Matthew James twice moving furniture from Spain to Australia. I was very impressed the first time with the care taken and decided to use them a second time. I was not at the house when everything was packed, so was a little nervous but when it all arrived in Australia, I was again very impressed with the quality of packaging and the amount of effort given to ensure every item arrived safe. I would highly recommend them.”

“I discovered Matthew James by following their excellent reviews and am delighted to say that these were spot on. Our move was from France to Scotland, with a six week storage in between. The first thing to note is that everything arrived just as it left, unpacked (with a few boxes kept full at our request) and in place. Both ends of the move were handled extremely professionally by cheerful and savvy guys for whom the inevitable little wrinkles just weren't a problem. My only criticism would be that they just couldn't fix the weather in Edinburgh! One more thing.... Damned cool trucks. Thank you Matthew James.”

“Efficient packing and collection of items and all arrived safely in France with same efficiency and all items in good order plus help unpacking bulky items...and removing packing materials. I would recommend this firm( as someone who has moved over 15 times in several countries)”

“We moved from two houses to one both on the same day, all of the chaps that moved us worked really hard all day to ensure everything was in place, all beds and wardrobes built, everything that was labelled was where it was supposed to be. All in all we are very happy that we picked Matthew James to help with our move and would have no hesitation in recommending them again.”

“Relocating to a new country is a daunting experience and potentially stressful. In planning our retirement to Spain one of the most important considerations was shipping of our furniture and treasured possesions. Using Matthew James was an excellent decision on our part. The survey, planning and quotation was all professionally undertaken. The subsequent packing was carried out very efficiently by three great guys who were extremely pleasant, considerate and caring. When our possessions arrived in Spain the two guys who unloaded were also very professional, friendly and helpful. When we initially aquired quotations for the relocation it was always Matthew James who were the yardstick to compare others by. We made the right choice with Matthew James and recommend anyone relocating to use them - they're brilliant.”

“The company was recommended to me by a very "particular" friend who referred to them as "superb" - a high recommendation. I went for the partial pack option - the care taken by the extremely polite workforce was impeccable, my goods were wrapped, packed and inventoried (!) meticulously.”

“I needed to ship some furniture to my house in Spain and found this company on the Internet. I bought my new good from various different UK shops (Next, M&S and some independent shops) and had my goods shipped directly to Matthew James where they held them until everything I'd bought arrived. They were then shipped and within a matter of days they arrived in Spain. The delivery guys were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Matthew James and I will definitely be using them again in the future.”

“We did use Matthew James for our previous move so we believed we were going to get the same fantastic service as we did before. Obviously the guys were not the same as ten years ago but these ones were brilliant! We had the packing service the day before our move and Martin is not only very good at his job he is also a lovely guy who was incredably respectful to us and our home. The guys who moved us on the day (Matt, Leon and Tony) were very professional and made us feel at ease quickly which took away any stress we were feeling. When we met again a couple of hours later at our new location that same professionalism kicked into gear again but by now the 'banter' was excellent between us all. When finished they still took the time to make sure everything was where we wanted it to be and asked if there was there any further help they could assist us with. All we can say is that the whole experience of Matthew James was first class and we would not consider using anyone else.”
