“I am establishing an acre of wildflower meadow on existing pasture and so wanted to use yellow rattle to help suppress the grass a bit. Yellow rattle isn’t the easiest plant to establish but with the help of Meadowmania I have an acre with lots of little green yellow rattle plants popping up. This shows the seed quality was good. Though Daisy and Pumpkin the two donkeys who grazed and trampled it over the winter say they deserve the credit!”

“Didn’t cover nearly the amount it said it would. I ordered 10m2 and didn’t even get enough for my 3m2 garden patch 😢 UPDATE They’ve now emailed me asking about this review to an email that doesn’t accept replies even though they asked me to and the email subject asks if I’m “dispaointed”. how did this company get this far??? AVOID”

“In November 23 I bought wild garlic, native blue bell and snowdrop bulbs costing £175. I planted all these shortly after they arrived even though some of the bulbs did not look viable. None of the snowdrops came through. It is now the 7th of April and I have had 4 wild garlic flowers and 3 bluebells. I was very disappointed with this and contacted meadowmania. They said the problem was likely to have been the wet winter. They offered me 20% discount off my next purchase as a goodwill gesture. Next year I will get buy my bulbs from a different company and see if they germinate.”

“I have ordered 3 packets of wildflower seeds over the past 12months. Some I planted last spring and they did very well. I have planted more this spring and thay have already started to show signs of shoots. The information and ordering process on their web site is clear and helpful. Always delivered as promised on time. The seeds are excellent for those hard to get to places in the garden and they also grow well in pots. Overall excellent service with a product to match. Plant them, leave them and enjoy them.”

“As a community group, we chose Meadowmania to seed a wildflower meadow in a public place. The service was and is excellent, as is access to information and project support.
