“Generally very pleased with products and services. The annual meadow mix (regular and gold) did result in 80% corn cockle, though this may have been the appallingly dry April followed by cold very wet May.”

All Meadow mixes are based on 80% grass and 20% wild flowers. You sow lawn seed at 40 grams to the sq metre and meadow mixes at 4 grams. So you are only sowing about 3 grams to the sq meter of grass seed in a meadow. The grass is an important backdrop for the flowers.

“I am very impressed with MeadowMania. They gave me lots of useful advice on how to set up my new mini-meadow. The seeds and plugs arrived in good condition and my meadow is growing, which considering how bad I am at gardening and how cold the weather has been is a great result!
