“The Coniston Bluebird, a fitting tribute to a legend, is quite possibly the best watch I've ever owned. It embodies all of the things that a watch company strives to make in their products, with a modern vision of a classic style that is one of a kind. In a digital world full of smartwatches, the hand-wind approach using the Miyota 8N33 brings back a connection between the user and the watch. Simply an amazing piece that I'm happy to not only add to my collection but have as an example of what functioning art can be. Well done lads!”

Watching him unpack/unveil the watch was wonderful - what a beautiful way to present a watch. “I came across Marloe Watch Company on social media, and was pretty nervous as you read so many horror stories about cons and so on. I did a bit more research, read your website, and ended up going for a Consiston Bluebird watch on the pre-sale. The watch was due to be released on 31st July; and I received it on that very day - so a great first impression. The presentation box is large, and plush, feeling premium and displaying the watch in it's very best fashion. I do wonder whether there's an opportunity to have part of the box (or a small soft carry bag) be removable / added for safe transportation of the watch if you wanted to put it in a bag or similar. But this is really nitpicking. The watch itself is beautiful to look at and feels really premium. The brochure about the watch that came with the package is full of interesting insights into the way the watch was designed and manufactured and screams of a company passionate about design, heritage and quality. I've never owned a wind up watch before, and have to say that winding the watch itself has a weirdly satisfying feel to it. Seeing the internal workings is a lovely touch, as is the numbered nature of the timepiece. It feels comfortable on the wrist; and despite having a fairly chunky profile, is really light and the leather strap is lovely. I would not hesitate to buy another watch from MWC and am even considering investing, having sampled the goods! :) Keep up the incredible work. James”

“Pre-ordered a Coniston Bluebird watch - it arrived promptly on the aforementioned date. Presentation was suberb including a book about the company, and the story behind the watch itself - the history of the high speed runs by Donald Campbell. The watch is awesome, I love the design and details. A great product and a great buying experience overall.”

“Very happy with the watch. The quality and the story behind the project adds to its value. Having been a quality engineer, I always look at the detail and I am extremely impressed at the quality,finish and the components used at this price point.
