“3.5 stars. Good: I love the design (straight lugs are my favourite) and the colour. The spinning of the bezel around the face is interesting and innovative. I like the rubber strap too. Bad: the crown is hard (even slightly painful) to manipulate to actually get the bezel in the correct position for the time it currently is. It feels a little rattly and cheap (cf. a Seiko of similar or less price). Overall I would recommend but maybe the model without the spinning bezel (Solent 'something-else'?)”

“The time between placing an order and when I received my watch was astoundingly short. I was literally expecting a week to receive my order from the UK to the USA and it was only a couple of days. Also... The watch is fantastic but the packaging was AMAZING! I'm showing my age here but... Remember when you used to have to go to the computer store to buy an expensive software package? The 5 CD ROMS you needed to install on your IBM, Dell, or Gateway PC came in a box with a bunch of books. And an hour or two later, when you were done putting the CD ROMs into the drive one after the other, you put the CD ROMs back in the inner box, slid it back into the outer box, and then put the box up on the shelf with the books you don't read in case you needed them at a later time... remember that box?? Yeah, this watch box reminds me of that, only a whole lot nicer.”

“I have been visiting the Marloe Watch Company website for a number of years but it was until July 2025 that I took the plunge (excuse the pun) and purchased the Morar Air. Gold King. As many have said already the Morar is better in reality than in the photographs on the website. It is truly a spectacular watch. The specifications speak for themselves. The design and craftsmanship, truly exceptional. The way the lugs curve toward the base of the watch means that persons with narrow wrists (like my 6.75 inch wrist) can comfortably wear this amazing piece of mechanics. The clarity on the dial is superb and the brightness of the lume is to be commended. The service from Marloe is absolutely First Class and the pricing of this particular watch is worth every penny. If any reader of this review is considering a purchase from Marloe then from my experience you will not be disappointed with the service you receive. I can thoroughly recommend the Morar 310 Air. Gold King - it is a stunning piece of horology.”
