"I recently purchased a Sceptre Black Edition. I was a little worried that the 42mm size would be too much for my wrist but in fact the watch wears very well indeed and is very comfortable. I purchased one of the horween leather straps with the ridges these are again excellent and make the strip slightly elastic which I think helps with teh wear. The Sceptre Black Edition is a very clear watch to read and has a depth to the dial that gives you the impression of looking into the depths! The blue anti-reflection coating also creates some interesting colours. The Miyota 9039 movement is as usual excellent. So overall the Sceptre has been a great purchase and I am very pleased with it. "

"The watch was quickly despatched and delivered. Its small size fits my modest sized wrist quite well. I especially appreciate the fact that Marloe chose an appropriate size for a vintage-inspired watch! The watch is well finished and seems solidly built. The only issue is with packaging. Although the watch came with a nice booklet and a copy of the company's promotion journal, the box is quite large and with today's concern over the environment, I think Marloe should consider a more modest packaging solution."
