“We had a problem with a retrofitted e-bike where the battery/motor no longer worked. Mapdec invested a lot of time diagnosing the issues, and in the end, we decided to replace the system, which Mapdec did, involving us in selecting the optimum components. The team is professional and friendly, and the pricing is fair and reasonable. It's great to have such an excellent service in Kendal. I would not hesitate to recommend them for servicing or repairs, and if I wanted a new custom bike, I would also approach them first.”

“Brilliant, thank you Paul and Jake. I love my new Time ADHX45. It was well worth the journey from South Wales. I really value the fact that my bike had been built with great skill and attention to detail. And that it has been customised to my requirements rather than those of the marketing dept of some large bike company. I wish you every success and hope that a lot more cyclists see the sense in adopting your custom approach to bike buying.”

“I had Mapdec rebuild my Zipp 303S wheels on DT Swiss 240 hubs and am extremely pleased with the whole process. They had no problem dealing with me shipping the wheels to them, kept me up to date with the work and were happy to answer any questions I had. A great experience and the new hubs are a fantastic upgrade.”

“A tale of two bikes for an extended trip with two races. Jake went the extra mile so I could race my MTB abroad. Last minute .com! A great relief. Many thanks. My TT bike was a flying machine in Belgium, and got me 4th place in a race of over 3 hours by 13 seconds! Not a podium, but dashed close. Race services work!”
