“Mapdec took on some difficult work on my electric folder but couldn’t complete it so they packed it and sent it to the manufacturers, who diagnosed and sorted the electrical and battery faults. I was kept informed and asked for preferred solutions. Would certainly entrust my other bikes to mapdec.”

“Bought a new folding bike & needed it set up. I was recommended by a friend & I wasn’t disappointed. Great service, friendly and helpful. I had trouble with the gears after I picked it up, they said to bring it back in & it turned out it was me not the bike or anything they had done. They were very patient & showed me how to get them to work duh !!!🙄. Good price. Would thoroughly recommend.”

“Excellent advice and guidance on how to get my son’s bike ready for a long road trip. Being able to get to Mapdec by car (I know - irony) is a really helpful thing for us. Everyone is friendly and helpful and all costs explained. All work carried out quickly and with excellent communication. Highly recommended.”

“Brilliant with Brompton! Took in my Brompton for a long overdue service. cables were replaced, new shifter needed to allow the new drive train to work. all returned in great order and a keen price. Problem developed soon after with shifting and this was cheerfully rectified with no charge. Best bike shop for many a country mile!”

“Really pleased with the work carried out on my road bike, replaced inner and outer gear cables which are now shifting like new, annoying rattle from internal cables gone and new bar tape fitted nice and neat aiding comfort on longer rides”
