“Your engineer arrived on time and explained what he would action on his visit. He replaced a sensor in the lounge and carried out his inspection and checks very efficiently. He was friendly and did a good job. I would certainly recommend him and your company.”

“Dave arrived within the time specified, and quickly got on with the task of checking the house alarm. He is a very pleasant engineer who remembered that my wife had just died last year when he visited, and asked how I was coping.”

“Excellent service was provided (as is usual from Lynx Fire & Security) when the Lynx engineer visited for our annual CCTV Servicing. He was very friendly and courteous whilst attending to the servicing and we were very satisfied with the service visit which maintains the CCTV systems to the required professional standards. The service visit was easy to arrange after being prompted by Lynx Staff that it was becoming due. We have been using Lynx Fire & Security for some time and can recommend them.”

“Not happy about the fact that you’re going paperless. The service man had to write a receipt out for me. I don’t have a printer. Would prefer the invoice in paper format as my email is unreliable.”

Thankyou for taking the time to leave a review - we appreciate your feedback. In order to reduce our environmental impact and make information between Engineers and our office flow more efficiently, Lynx made a company decision this year to transfer over to a digital report for corrective and preventative maintenance visits. Over the course of a single year, around 30,000 pieces of paper were being used relating to our routine services alone. Customers that do not have an email address, will still receive reminders and invoices via post in the first instance. However, due to our Engineers receiving information directly to their devices and the ever-changing situations throughout the day, we are unable to supply additional copies of invoices each time we attend a property. We do appreciate that a small number of our customers may not have email or own a printer. Due to this, our Engineers carry the original paper dockets and can fill out one of these too if needed. We currently have a small supply and, although we will not be re-ordering these going forward, we suspect the remaining copies will still be available at request for a few years to come.

“Lynx are a thoroughly professional company. The girls who answer the phone promptly and know pretty much everything about the systems are fantastic. The engineers, including Shane who visited today are friendly, polite and knowledgeable and nothing seems too much bother. Glenn and the CCTV team are excellent as well. You stand out as a Company and your bosses should be proud of the team and themselves.”
