“System is OK but disappointed with the required continuous service. Would have preferred a hard wired system that didn't need constant battery change. I wasn't aware of that when the system was installed. Also spent half year without the use of my remote as the service done last year, replaced the batteries with dead ones and I didn't realise until the next service. I thought the remotes ust didn't work anymore. Very disappointing.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your disappointment with the ongoing battery requirements and the issue you experienced with your key fob. As the property was a new build, the alarm system was supplied through the building company, who specified a wireless system as standard. Wireless systems do require occasional battery replacement, which is why our annual renewal includes the option to replenish the wireless batteries. This is entirely optional, and customers can choose to replace batteries as and when needed instead. We’re particularly sorry that you were without the use of your remote for so long. We completely understand how frustrating this must have been. Key fobs are portable devices that are used regularly, so batteries can sometimes fail sooner than expected or become dislodged, making it difficult to determine exactly why they have stopped working. We’re glad the fob is now working again following the battery replacement. If it does stop working again unusually quickly, please let us know and we’d be happy to look into it further. We really appreciate your feedback and are sorry that your experience fell short of expectations. We’ll continue to do our best to provide clear advice and a reliable service to all our customers.
