About Lunar Shoes:

Launched in 1990, Lunar shoes set out with the aim of creating something new, colourful & elegant at prices that were within the reach of most British Women. Each season, the Lunar Design Team select unique materials and trims from all areas of the fashion industry and apply them to footwear.

The results are there for everyone to see, as season after season Lunar create an exciting collection compromising of classic footwear, colourful sandals and boots with a designer twist.

Every season Lunar launch over 300 brand new designs and these can be found in leading Department Stores, Boutiques & shoe shops across the UK & Europe, some are created in up to 7 colours!

In the last 25 years the brand has gone from strength to strength and now the design, buying & QC teams work in tandem and are true to the original aims of creating unique, seasonal designs, incorporating the best trims & embellishments in the latest fashion colours. As you can imagine this is not an easy job and that is why we say:

“I am a size 6.5 in other shoes. Bought the size 7 and struggled even to get my feet into them. I checked the label as I felt sure they must have sent the wrong size but they were a size 7. Extremely small made.”

“The sandals that I ordered had to be returned as they were to wide and the strap around the ankle was far too loose. I've bought Lunar shoes in the past and loved them, however I am very disappointed with this particular pair of sandals.”

“My sandals arrived with part of the cross over strap not stitched in place so were completely unfit for wear. This is poor quality control and should have been avoided. This is the first time I have ordered online from your company and I am not impressed. I have sent them back for a prompt replacement, so fingers crossed 🤞”

“Order form and receipt specify the correct shoes ordered but I was sent the wrong pair of shoes (ordered the black with white sole and received all black) - the shoes were needed immediately so had to be worn but very disappointed by the service from Lunar Shoes for making this obvious error. Won’t be purchasing from here again.”

“Don’t fall foul of leaving a review so soon after taking delivery of your slippers, they may seem great to begin with and tbf they are, but then you’ll have to deal with the appalling customer service and experience when your slippers start wearing out so quickly or have an issue, in my case less than three months. PLEASE don’t waste your money on this brand as soon as you have a problem they really don’t care go and spend your money with many other companies with far better customer service”

“Avoid purchasing if you have a problem, i purchased two pairs of slippers for my wife as she had these slippers before, this time though both developed faults (excessive wear) on soles and on upper material, both of which Luna thought acceptable after owning these slippers for less than THREE MONTHS - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE”

“Having been a customer for years online and in store I had to return a pair of faulty slippers. Delivery charges were not refunded lunar told me they were not faulty, they were. Be very careful when returning faulty goods and take photos of faults as proof. If not you will find that cs is very protective of the delivery charges even though it was only £1.99. So be aware”

“This review is based on my last order of navy Whitstable shoes. I have seven pairs of these shoes in different colours and they are the most comfortable shoes l have ever had , however I have had to return these shoes several,times from different companies as when opened the leathers do not match. It is difficult to purchase this style from high street stores, l really do need these shoes in navy but have ordered them and retuned several times. Is there no quality control before dispatching from the factory, l am so disappointed that l can not purchase these shoes anywhere.”

“I would love a pair of Lunar slippers but your website is chaotic. You say you already have my email address but you cannot recognise my password, or my NEW RESET passwords. I have tried several times, changed my password several times but keep getting blocked.”

“Love the lunar leather pumps and have a white and a navy pair. I love the design and the quality of the soft leather. I could and would have purchased them in more colours but my white pumps have split on both feet on the sole and have developed very large holes, also in both feet. Never, ever had a pair of shoes do this. I’ve only worn them over the summer. Called lunar but they asked me to take them back to the store. I haven’t as I can’t find the receipt.”

“I've always been size 6 d fitting. These shoes were more like a 5 extra narrow. Returned. Also purchased trainers which were evidently out of stock !!”

“Have not received my order as dad called at the wrong address on delivery day so it was sent to Swansea to be collected at their depot I live in Aberdare Swansea is 30miles away as I am disabled and house bound I cannot collect and on contacting customer services was told nothing can be done so not helpful Will not shop with them again in the future”

“Ordered 2 pairs of slippers, payed extra for postage 48 hr delivery and they weren’t dispatched until 2 days after, when they eventually arrived over a week and a half later there was only one pair and absolutely no correspondence to advise that one pair was out of stock, I’m still waiting on someone returning my email.”
