“I was introduced to your website by my mother who uses you quiet a bit to purchase clothes for my father. I found your website to be very well laid out and user friendly. I purchased clothes for my husband which arrived in perfect condition. I have had to return them for a smaller size but even your returns procedure has been the easiest to follow compared to other websites from which I have purchased clothes. “Yes as a first time buyer & during Covid I thought the service was excellent! I bought 2 shirts online and it was important that I could return if necessary! My husband is extra skinny! The first shirt was an excellent fit, style and colour. The short sleeve shirt once again showed off non existent biceps! I was hoping the sleeves might have been slightly elbow length. Not your fault but tnx for taking it back and the refund! See you again no doubt! Tnx Anne”

“I recently bought a Maurizio Baldassari field jacket from the Wicklow St, Dublin store; but through the online site, logging on from Hong Kong. John Byrne, the sales executive, was kind enough to ring me in Hong Kong to explain the Italian size should fit me so I was delighted to buy the jacket given his reassurance. The jacket was shipped DHL on the Wednesday from Dublin and reached Hong Kong Kong on Saturday morning, for a reasonable International Express shipment price. The jacket did indeed fit and the quality and style was what I had hoped it would be. Louis Copeland proved to be a good example of retailers making sure the online experience dovetails with their physical stores. This was welcome. Especially during the pandemic lockdowns. Some online shopping at Yoox, Farfetch, Ssense etc can be faceless, computerised warehouse experiences with poor photographs and duff information; shipped from bizarre locations around the world, with uncertain e commerce platforms. With Louis Copeland I got personal service and I could pay by PayPal and not pay Irish VAT, at an egregious 23%. That's worth knowing and a bonus if you live outside the EU or the UK. The store demonstrated to me, as a first time user, that they are customer friendly and keen to help if they can, with a personal touch. Calling Hong Kong from Dublin to put me straight on questions I'd raised by e mail I thought was a nice effort on their part. First class. Long may they continue in business and prosper, once or if the vaccine gives us all the all clear. We can only hope it does before 6th December 2022. A date that will be worth celebrating in a nice new Maurizio Baldassari field jacket.”
