“Having initially gone to a bank on my own I found the process of receiving a mortgage offer taking hours over a few appointments. I decided to try L and C and within a couple of phone calls over an hour or so overall I had been given some good advice and a significantly better mortgage offer than I had got from the bank. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to get a mortgage.”

“I needed a 50% shared ownership mortgage at 15% LTV for my half. I decided to go via a broker mainly for speed and ease of use. I choose L&C due to recommendation on Moneysaving Expert. They quickly found a Nationwide Building Society Mortgage, at a good rate which came with £500 cash back from Nationwide for first time buyers. This was actually the best mortgage I found during my independent research, but the advantage of going with L&C is that they help with all the paperwork, and you don't need to visit a Nationwide branch for an appointment, which you normally do for a shared ownership mortgage with them. L&C were easy to get hold of on the phone and were good at keeping me up to date with the progress. I was pleasantly surprised a couple of months after completion to receive a cheque for £250 from Nationwide as a loyalty payment as I had a current account with them. I had assumed this was only for customer who applied direct, but it seems not! I have since bought contents insurance with L&C, after much research it seemed the best policy. I consider myself a bit of a bargain hunter, and did a fair bit of research on both mortgage and contents insurance, but I couldn't find a better deal. In short L&C gave me the best deal, plus they helped with all the paperwork, so I'd definitely recommended given them a try especially as they don't charge any fees to customers themselves at any stage.”

“My entire experience of L&C from start to finish has been fantastic. As a first time buyer I was completely new to the house-buying process so felt pretty anxious, but needn't have. They walked me through everything in a professional and friendly way and took plenty of time to explain what was happening, what they needed from me and to answer the many questions I had. And all for free! I would highly recommend L&C to anyone.”

“L&C brokers are phenomenal. They were able to find a mortgage for me even though my bank with whom I banked for 10 years turned me down for a mortgage. They also processed my application super fast. My advice is to give these brokers a call anyways to have an informal chat about your circumstances. They would be able to tell you what is best for your circumstances. What is more, their advice is free.”

“I think London & Country did an amazing job, there were always ready help and best of all always available when I called them. Having one dedicated agent was perfect as he always knew the status and my circumstances.
