“We paid in a timely fashion. The survey was initially promised 5-7 working days from being undertaken. I initiated every conversation in order to obtain the survey. In the end we received the survey after 10 working days & we had requested a credit of the payment due to no information coming from the surveyors & constant promise dates not coming true. Shame.”

“Thanking you for your speedy response unfortunately it was taken out of our hands as we have a lifetime mortgage with AVIVA Equity Release and they took charge of both the assessment of our bungalow for sale & our bungalow for purchase.No doubt they will have used local surveyors to both areas & we found them to be excellent(very efficient). The surveyor used by our purchasers was too quick for my likings & we found their Solicitor was asking us to confirm many items he should have found.”

“the only disappointing thing is the survey report was very vaugue. There was a lot of languegysuch as could be, possible showing signs of and such language. When you get a survey people want more direction rather than having to pay out again for more opinions. The survey made great play on a POSSIBLE MAJOR FAULT with the drainage system we layer an extra £170 for the drainage company to tell us not sure whey it says that in the report it looks fine. After the inspection the engineer stated everything was in perfect order.”

“I required a survey of some freeholds I had been left in my mother's will. I needed a valuation for probate and two people wanted to buy the freeholds off me. No company o. Your list could/would undertake the valuation.”

“Your surveyor search said that it would provide 4 local surveyors. It only provided one, which was some distance away from the search area. I could not believe there were no surveyors nearer than that, as there is a town which I expected to have surveyors available closer than the one you suggested. By using different search terms on google I found a very local, RICS qualified surveyor, and have asked them to do the valuation. This was one of many who were closer than the one you found. I therefore feel that using your website was a waste of time and was misleading.”

“I asked for a surveyor in Scotland and was given one in England and although they used to work in my area, had told the website some time ago that they don,t deal with Scotland anymore. There are at 4 surveyors in my area but this site didn't,t recommend any of them and recommended one some 50 miles away.”

“I was surprised that the carpets could not be lifted as I had paid for a structural survey instead of the Homebuyers survey, as another surveyor who looked at my property said a structural survey meant that you could lift the carpets and have good look at what was going on. I might just as well have saved money by having the cheaper survey.”

“Very quick responses from many potential suppliers, leading to a rapid understanding of cost and availability of surveyors in my area. I can only comment on the surveyor I had chosen, he was very good, flexible and turned around our building survey within a week.”

“When we were spending £300K on a new house, we felt the cost of the survey was a small price to pay. We were so pleased that the report confirmed what we thought that the house was in good shape and worth what we offered. The surveyor Hadrian was courteous and friendly to the owner of the house, who actually built the house! Excellent job and very thorough report.”
