“Prinsegate staff initially indicated to me that they would carry out a house survey and follow up with a report within 3 working days. They reassured me that they would have everything done by Completion, due on Wed 22 Dec. With the report due, I called on Monday and was told that the report would be sent to me by 6 pm on 22 Dec. When I called at 10 am on Wed 22 Dec I was told that the admin staff would contact the surveyor to see when the report might be ready. I did not get a callback. I called again at 1 pm and after some time received an email telling me that the report would be ready sometime between 4 pm and 8 pm. As of this morning 23 Dec - that is today - the report has not been completed and shared.”

“I found the site easy to use and navigate. I submitted information easily and received quotations very promptly. My wife and I were extremely happy with the process and within 3 working days from application the survey was arranged and completed. We are assured of the full written report within a further 5 working days. Excellent service.”

“Great idea and we are using our second choice who have been extremely efficient so far - survey booked within a week of us contacting them. However, we were originally approached by another firm as a result of us making the enquiry through 'Local Building Surveyors' and were advised that their surveyor would shortly be in the area - that got our attention. We then submitted their required form and were told that the property was out of their catchment area, even though we had provided a postcode in the initial enquiry. Beware of this practice!”

“Instructed by local solicitors over 4 weeks ago by e/mail, no phone call to arrange a valuation, also 2nd . e/mail on 25th November 2021 no reply received.”
