“I used local building surveyors when I was required to get a RIC S level 3 survey done on a house that we wanted to buy. We found Watsons & they were completely useless. The survey was carried out by an associate partner & no mortgage lender would recognise the survey. I could just as well have got £600 & put it down a drain somewhere. It has been an absolutely dreadful experience.”

Dear Matt Sorry to hear of your negative experience. But Watson's are not one the surveyors listed on our site, so I think you probably also used a competitor's site and found them through that. Best regards Local Building Surveyors

“I was expecting a list of companies with quotes, but what I got was two weeks of being constantly called by different surveyors, sending emails, and follow ups and chasers. I decided against any survey in the end and feeling harassed did contribute to that.”

“The homebuyers survey, was good however, i did find it a bit vague in some of the findings, this was later sorted by a Email to the surveyor who then answered some of my questions on the findings. Would definitely recommend it at least now i know what i am waking in to”
