“We decided on SH Woodhouse Surveying, price was affordable and inline with others. Steve was quick to make contact and explained the process clearly and put me at ease. Steve was able to book us in within a week and completed the report a few days after the survey. The report was clear and detailed and he also phones me to give me an overview before the final report landed. I would use Steve again if we had a requirement”

“The site was easy to use and I received almost instant responses from surveyors.However with hindsight I should have waited as I went with the company that contacted me and first and over the phone sounds reasonable and knowledgeable which unfortunately was not the case. Despite explaining the details of the property they decided that I was wrong and that the property was of the 30's (1954), a conversion (purpose built as evidence by others in the road), couldn't tell me date of windows (all UPVC windows have dates on them) and a few other smaller issues. I will not use them again.”

“Some of the surveyors do not honor the quote price. Once you contact them, they tell you they will send you the accurate quote and when they do, it's usually an increased price which ultimately defeats the whole purpose of using a comparison website. It's very deceitful and disappointing!”

“A1 Professional Service. McLachlan Associates was used. Local company with local knowledge. Provided Homebuyers report within days of makibg appointment. Peter arranged keys to vacant property via agents. He completed assessment with photos, and sent an email copy of report same day. Excellent service, friend expert. Thank you”
