“I've always found your service excellent including delivery times. However one item which never seems to appear in your catalogue are slips. Am I too old fashioned ? Slips in gold, silver or white can be most useful.”

“I was pleased with the quality of the chop service. Unfortunately the packaging of the boards was rather battered and resulted in the corner and edge of the large mat board being damage.”

“Bit of a hitch at the checkout that they were not able to resolve and had to log out and compile the order again. However, all items delivered promptly and in good order. I think that next day charge is set as a default which was an extra cost as I didn't need it so fast. As I had been so long compiling the order [twice] I neglected to check postage”

“Quality of mount boards as expected. Mount board cutter good. Shame you have a minimum order of 10 mount boards, when other, more expensive items, are being ordered at the same time.”

Thank for you for your positive review. The reason we have a minimum order of 10 mountboards is because we've found that anything less is likely to get damaged in transit. We pack them in 10s in our special despatch cartons to reduce the risk of damage as much as possible. You can mix mountboard, backing board, styrene and sticky boards to make up the 10 sheet minimum.

“Great value, great range, great phone support. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that my order was split into two deliveries either side of a weekend with no explanation, causing me to waste 2 hours chasing down the courier only to find it wasn't the courier at fault. When I spoke with customer services they were very polite, explaining that this happens quite frequently, and that I should always call them first, before the couriers - which is all very well, but as a first time buyer I didn't know that. Maybe explain *really clearly* prior to purchasing that it's quite common for orders to be split into two deliveries (there's some explanation that it might happen if you order in the afternoon, but I ordered early in the morning explicitly to avoid that happening, and it happened anyway)”

“Polite, relaxed, helpful . . . . is how I found the nice sales lady that I spoke to on my first contact with Lion, as was the gentleman I spoke to later. My order arrived the next morning, well packed and as ordered, the samples arrived four days later. All in all a good experience.”
