Hi Shirley, I hope you are well. Im sorry to hear that the cushions weren't quite the colour you were expecting. We take all of our own high res images so try super hard to show the true colour of our products especially cushions and throws etc. I can see you ordered the fara range which is a velvet material so can appear darker and lighter on certain angles and depending which way the velvet is brushed. We are always happy to send over extra images in different light levels before ordering if you would like any alternatives in the future. Best Wishes, Craig
