First purchase from this company and their delivery provider DHL has just pulled the "we tried to deliver to you today" nonsense - they didn't, I have an intercom which let's me know when someone tries my door. I hope this isn't a bad sign re receiving my product.

Hi Gerry, Thank you for taking the time to reach out. I am so sorry that this has happened, obviously this is a little out of our hands but I will reach out to DHL now who will hopefully get in touch with the driver. I can see from the tracking image that they have taken a picture of your main entrance door. They are saying that a calling card has been left which will either explain that they will try again tomorrow or it may have been taken to a collection point. Apologies again, Team LD

Have hot opened the box and the table is damaged looks like impact mark maybe from the courier. Hopefully will be sorted.

Staff made the wrong order . I had to email and and phone and leave messages to get it rectified before the order was dispatched ! Was surprised it came in a kit form was not informed of this . Very complicated to fit together!

Would like to say I love my item but I never received it,DHL show a photo of the delivery man starting to put item through the letterbox but it didn't get delivered,no idea what happened or where it went .Not Lillian Daph fault.Very disappointed.

Very pleased with our purchase and the store are really good at communicating! They offered to deliver our unit built up rather than flat pack as the delivery driver had another delivery in our region. The only negative though is that it wasn’t made clear the delivery driver only delivers to one flight of stairs, we live on a one level conversion with our ground floor being 2 flights of stairs with a small porch area in between, however the delivery man wouldn’t take our bookcase up the second flight. I wouldn’t have been bothered however I am 7 months pregnant and my husband is currently in a knee brace due to an accident so it was left blocking the landing and we had to arrange to have this to be lifted the rest of the way. Had I know this I would have just got it flat packed. Just a heads up for anyone living up more than one flight! Other than that the team at Lillian Daph are helpful and item is lovely!

One of the items I ordered became unavailable after I made my purchase, and I was refunded the amount. I would not have continued with purchasing the rest of my items and paid the shipping fee had I known that item would be removed

Hi Claire, Thank you for your feedback regarding your order. I am sorry to hear that you did not receive any notification your order was on its way, this is all automated through our system which you should have been notified at least twice, once to confirm receipt and another to acknowledge that we have fulfilled your order and it is on its way. Also another from DPD via email or text with a time slot for delivery on the morning of. I can only apologise if you have received none of the above which I will certainly look into as they are all automated. I can only apologise again if you have had more than two emails asking to review, one for a company review and another for the product. I bought two rough cast candles. They were heavy! The candles are great, the packaging was not. Both candles arrived bruised. Quite badly.

I found the website interesting and full of excellent items. We particularly like the Scandinavian goods and my daughter-in-law chose the butter dish for her birthday. It’s yet to be delivered so can’t comment on the quality etc but it looks lovely online.

We are very sorry your order has not arrived sooner, however as outlined on our website, due to demand on the Post Office our 2-3 day shipping service is actually running at around more like 7 working days. As you placed your order on Sunday 12th April, it was shipped the next working day, Tuesday 13th due the Easter bank holiday. Therefore your order is likely to be with mid next week (we would hope by Tuesday but cannot guarantee as we are sure you can understand during this extremely difficult time postal services are completely stretched with staff shortages and more online shopping than usual). Hi Alyssa Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review, we constantly analyse feedback in order to improve our service. Packaging is something that we are constantly working on, at the moment we use all recycled brown paper. As I’m sure you can appreciate, striking the chord just right between enough to protect the item during transit, and not over-packing in order to help reduce waste is a fine line. We will endeavour to continue to search for the best looking as well as best preforming packaging. In terms of the bath salts, they are handmade, vegan friendly, cruelty free, all natural and all their packaging is now recyclable. These elements do unfortunately amount to create a little more expensive product. The high quality ingredients mean you only need a little in your bath to produce a beautiful aroma and detoxifying body ritual. Many thanks LD

We are so sorry regarding the mix up with the coloured Molly vases you ordered, this is the first we have heard that you received the wrong ones as we would have been able to get the correct vases sent out straight away for replacement. I love the style of this teapot ,it’s colour ,it pours well but I feel I have a seconds as there are little black spots on it which don’t appear on the mugs ,it was a moment of disappointment when I saw them but apart from this I love the teapot

Hi Janet, Thank You for taking the time to leave us a review, I'm sorry you aren't fully satisfied with your recent purchase, the black marks you have on your teapot are the finish on all the Nordic Sea range tableware, the full range is hand finished making them all completely different and not one the same as the other. We do get orders with customers asking for a lighter/darker finish across the Nordic sea range and we are always happy to pick out from our stock. By all means if you aren't completely happy with the finish we would offer you a refund on that item or to replace it, I have just checked the others we have in stock and they all have more significant black finish marks on them.
