“Reasonably quick delivery. Good prices. Although one of the bulbs was broken. Which wasn?t worth the hassle of chasing it up for a replacement.”

“Good product and exactly what I needed although the battery stowage of four D cells in the light itself makes it very heavy and needs to be taken into account when you are considering how you are going to secure the bracket to the wall. As I am I rented accommodation I didn?t want to drill into the walls so I?ve secured it behind frame itself with lots of duct tape! A photo of the bracket arrangement would have been useful - but not a deal breaker.”

“Order was dispatched promptly and I was kept informed of progress. However, the deliverer failed to match this standard. Hermes did not deliver in the window they had said. Hence, only 4 stars.”

I am sorry you are unhappy with the light you purchased. I am afraid the LED lamps are inclusive to the fitting and are not a changeable unit. I have looked for an alternative item from a number of our suppliers but have been unable to find another battery operated unit all alternatives are for hard wired applications. The light from LEDs can be quite harsh close up causing the effect you describe, it may help to angle the LEDs slightly into the top of the picture so the light floods down from the top. “Transaction was easy to make & delivery was excellent. However, one of the packages had clearly been opened; the screws had been removed and there was a black smudge on the light casing. The other 3 were perfect.”

I apologise you had a screw pack missing from your fitting. We do occasionally have to open a package to check on something for a customer, fitting instructions or sizes etc but always try to ensure everything is returned to the package. “I have not received the items I purchased.I can't find a contact number for DPD.On the tracking information it tells me it was delivered on Friday 1st Dec. signed for by somebody called Upton who I've never heard of,it then says the parcel has gone back to the Hinckley depot.All this is after DPD texting me every day from the 29th November to tell me that the parcel would be delivered that day! I haven't heard from DPD since Friday or yourselves although I left a message on your customer care line.Please,please please resolve this issue for me as soon as possible. Ian Sudbury”

I completely understand your frustration at the delay - unfortunately Black Friday and Cyber Monday caused challenges for many carriers due to the sheer volume of consignments in the system.
