“Terrible customer experience. Attempted delivery to wrong address and then was told this was my fault despite it being clear the issue was on their system. Called to discuss issue and was met by a very adversarial, unapologetic call handler who said I was unable to cancel the order. Would not use again.”

I understand your frustration however your order was placed on-line and as such all the information regarding the delivery address was provided by you at that time. If you check the order confirmation sent at the time your transaction was processed exactly as per those details. Our system is totally automated therefore on-line orders go straight through to dispatch as per the on-line transaction with no intervention by us. The order cannot be cancelled as such as it is out with FedEx for delivery again today as explained, however we can attempt to get it re-routed back to us and as promised this is what is being done currently. Once it is received back at our warehouse we can then arrange for the item to be refunded. I am sorry that you do not feel your experience was as it should have been however every attempt was made to explain why the delivery was attempted at the address it was and what could be done to reach a resolution. “Fortunately I happened to have a miniature allen key. I wasn't expecting to assemble the floor uplighter. It all worked though. I still wonder how on earth to remove the plastic bulb cover when I have to put a new bulb in.”

“Excellent service, Free, next day delivery. The item I ordered arrived extremely well packaged...on the outside, inside, however,mthe glass shade was broken because it was unsecured inside the box. I rang the customer service department, whomwere very efficient in handling things and a replacement was dispatched immediately which arrived in perfect condition the very next day, securely wrapped and protected, inside and out. In between the time of me ordering the light fitting and receiving the 2nd one Lighting Direct had reduced the price, once I pointed this out they were happy to refund the difference. Couldn't have asked for more!!!”

“I was generally happy with the service provided by Lighting Direct. However I placed an order for delivery the next working day but unfortunately the light fitting did not arrive on the expected day. I called to find out where my order was and a very nice lady said she would look into it and call me back. Unfortunately she did not call me back so I called the next day and spoke with her again at which time she apologised for not calling me back and confirmed that the light fitting would be delivered that day which it was.”
