Thank your for your feedback. I am sorry you appear to be disappointed with your purchase. The very nature of the galvanised finish is an "industrial look" and not the polished, smooth finish that you get with other materials. An identical design of lamp is available in black and very similar designs in stainless steel should the galvanised version not be to a customers taste. As with all products purchased from Lighting Direct, they can be returned under our 14 day "change your mind" guarantee once they have not been fitted and can be returned as new. “It would have been excellent except for Fedex who delivered the parcel at a neighbour's but failed to leave a card so we received it 2 days later than promised.”

Delighted you are so pleased with your fititngs. I can understand your disappointment with regard to receiving your consignment two days late and for this I apologise. “Customer service from lighting direct was pretty good however we received no confirmation of dispatch. FedEx the logistic provider did not provide any tracking information or dispatch email to confirm that order was out for delivery”

Thank you for taking the time to respond to the request for feedback. All customers are sent an email advising of the dispatch of their purchase. This email also contains the FedEx details allowing the customer to track their purchases. If this did not happen in your case I apologise. I am sorry that there was a problem with your order. As discussed with the gentleman Andrew who reported this matter to us, the specification for these fittings recently altered to a small degree. You therefore received in error, two fittings that slightly differed and not an incorrect item. This discrepancy in the design was immediately reported to our Supply Chain Dept. and the buyer for this range. When we contacted Andrew with an update, within twenty four hours of us being made aware, we were able to confirm we had arranged for our supplier to dispatch a replacement fitting directly to your address. Again apologies for any inconvenience caused however I am sure you will agree that we used our best endeavours to rectify this matter as speedily as possible. “Brilliant Customer Service.We recieved a faulty lamp (broken glass) when i rang customer service it was dealt with so swiftly that the replacement was here next morning. No fuss no messing wonderful and far exceeded my expectations. A beacon in the reailt field ( I would say a shining light but that would be naff I guess)”
