“I needed a new under cupboard strip light so used Lighting Direct for the first time. The fitting arrived in a huge box with masses of packing but the tube had shattered . I phoned and left a message and a really nice lady called me back. She couldn't have been more helpful and apologetic, albeit I feel sure it broke in transit as you could hear the broken glass when you touched the box, and a new light was sent for next day delivery and it was perfect. Very good customer service.”

“In my purchase, an outdoor light, the bracket was not straight. Returns were not straightforward. And I was leaving the address to which it was delivered. So I kept it and hope the light looks alright when it is mounted on the outside wall as I like the design of the light. Also it was not mentioned on the website that this light wasn't suitable for houses within 5 miles of the sea. So I may have to replace this light sooner than expected.”

“Electric tooth brush will not fit the shaver point correctly. It fits enough to work but wobbles in the connection so I will not use it I contacted customer service who checked out the problem with their management Management response was that the shaver point was for shavers only. I find this difficult to except as this has never been a issue with my the unit I was attempting to replace. As I had installed the light customer service stated that they would not except the light back.”

“Good selection to choose from, you are given the chance to purchase the correct bulb, fast delivery and well packaged, there was no voucher enclosed however the facility to obtain the money off was enclosed in the email.”

“Several emails regarding delivery including an incorrect link. Delivery days changed a couple of times without explanation. I rang about the bad link and was told someone would reply, this did not happen. I later emailed and that was replied too.”
