“The service was good, delivery prompt, however the product itself was of poor quality and the lampholder broke the first time the light was lowered and had to be repaired so it could be used over Christmas! Potentially if the lampshade was pulled down hard by a child for instance the lampholder could have separated from the curly cable exposing live, bare, wires! Operating instruction's for the lift unit may have prevented the issue, the label on the unit itself which black on black is not readily visible when the power is off for installation!”

“Bulbs fine, prices good, ordered on Friday, despatched Monday, so I guess this is a working-week operation, not an Amazon style 24/7 setup. Delivery service was then quick. What loses them a star is that they seem to be half Lighting Direct and half Lyco, so I got two welcome messages and from then on two lots of further promotional mailings. I do get hacked off with companies that colonize my inbox like that, although the unsubscribe seems to work, so they are not the worst of the worst. But there's no real excuse for that kind of shoddy crossover.”

“Rang the company regarding a transformer I was looking for. Confirm it was the one I was after so I order the part as it was way cheaper than other companies. Quick service and quick delivery. Got it within 3 days and that's not bad given I ordered it on a Friday afternoon. Only negative I can think of is that the delivery cost nearly as much as the product. The transformer was only small and light and was no way what they were asking for delivery charges.”

“The spotlights were simple to order on line and delivered within the promised timescale. However, the spotlights were advertised as having the bulbs included but this was not the case. I rang the company to explain the situation and was advised of an on line error. They did apologise however and sent me the missing bulbs very promptly. Really pleased with the lights and would be happy to shop with lighting direct again.”
