“Very user friendly website, clear communication with company, quick shipping & delivered when predicted. The only issue I had with my order was the size of the capsule LED bulbs that I was trying to fit into my under-cabinet kitchen lights - they were (in reality) much larger than I'd imagine in my head when looking at the space available - bit frustrating but mostly my fault. The other LED bulbs that I bought, for my bathroom & cooker hood, are excellent, were fitted easily, and give great light. I've bought LED bulbs from other online companies but they failed after a year. My first order from Lightbulbs Direct several years ago was to replace those dodgy ones, and the bulbs I bought then are still going strong now, giving great light, & are used frequently. Highly recommend Lightbulbs Direct!”

“I ordered a lightbulb for my kitchen which had become obsolete, a suitable equivalent make was sent to me, but unfortunately arrived cracked. I sent an email to the supplier who was very helpful and sent a very nice apologetic message and I received a new one soon after, very good service and it arrived in one piece.”

“I have bought light bulbs from this company for many years; they are one of the few places left where you can still get bulbs that aren't those ugly, twisted, energy-saving things. Bulbs can be beautiful; I have several vintage ones in my home and they prove that energy-saving doesn't have to be mundane. Always good service and great prices, I will continue to buy from LBD as long as they keep selling beautiful bulbs!”

“Bought these to replace older Phillips CFL types, which were rated 7W equivalent to 30W. The Crompton 4.5 is equevalent to 40W and the 3.5 to 30W, so a big improvement. They also run much cooler. The Phillips are too hot to touch after a couple of hours operation, whereas the Cromptons are cool enough to unscrew while still on after being powered for more than 4 hours. On top of this the website is excellent, and the service was very quick. The bulbs were well packaged and arrived with no damage.”
