I orderd 3 bulbs. they came in a jiffy bag which visibly had been bashed. one of the bulbs did not work. My ceiling fitting had three bulb holders.I now need to buy or source one elsewhere or buy a new one from Lightbulbs direct[ and pay the postage] Malcolm Fletcher

While the order came on time, one of the amber bulbs were broken. It would have greatly helped if it was clearly mentioned in the title of the product that these were decorative bulbs and not for indoor lighting. Finally, both the amber and pink bulbs just looked red when we switched them on.

Ordered Sunday evening based on their promise of 2-3 days shipping (faster than Amazon). After Thursday post arrived and still no delivery, I tried to contact them. Phone number is a paid secretarial service, who can only (very slowly) take a message and they said call back could be a day or more. Contacted by web form instead. Reply was that it wasn't even shipped yet! They despatched later that day by Royal Mail tracked 48, and it turned up on Saturday. I ordered a pack of two starters, the first one I put in did not work, the light was dim and barely flickering. Luckily the second of the pair did work properly. Will not be ordering from them again.

Quality and price of product good, communication and delivery very poor took a week to deliver. Unless systems and process communication changes we will not be buying again

I ordered 2 lightbulbs, they were very badly packed in a bubble envelope only so one of them arrived broken. I asked for a new one in a box this time and it came again in an envelope! It wasn’t broken by chance only…

I was kept informed of delivery etc. When the bulbs arrived they were in a flimsy Jiffy bag and I could hear a tinkling inside. Sure enough one of the bulbs was completely shattered. I rang a customer service agent who undertook to report it. Meanwhile I used the contact us facility online. A refund was made on 20.8.25.

Delivery was a shambles.Not delivered on time by royal mail tracked.Stated a delivery on saturday 10.35-13.35.No delivery by 17.00,so changed delivery to the monday.Never received on the monday or the tuesday.Received good response from lightbulbs direct,but didn't help on delivery.On checking tracking of my package,it never even made my local sorting office.Has put me off from ordering anymore items....

The light tubes I ordered were very poorly package, with no outward indication of the contents. As a consequence, both were snapped in half, and as they were the old type of fluorescent tubes, they caused a health risk to those handling them and me. I had to clear up broken glass and the chemicals powders that had leached out. On the plus side, a very pleasant woman answered my phone call and apologised for the inconvenience, refunding me in full. I then went to a local supplier and paid less, without any issues.

All seem fine but time will tell if they last. They certainly look more robust than the last Ever Ready ones I purchased elsewhere the hardly lasted any time at all. Fingers crossed that these will be as good as they seem. Sadly just a few weeks in and five of these bulbs have failed already. As bad a batch of them as I have had over the past 6 or 7 years I will not be ordering them again.
