“Order never arrived, despite paying for 1-2 day delivery. Contacted customer service and have had no response. Only contact I’ve had has been 2 automated emails asking me for a review”

“Bought lightbulbs. They arrived. Work fine. No problems. Since buying, have been CONSTANTLY spammed by LIGHTBULBS DIRECT. Every day, my email inbox gets another cgeap, nasty marketing gimmick from Lightbulbs Direct. Are they insane?!? I would never buy from them again because they do not respect the personal protected information of their customers but seem to think giving them access to addresses means they have permission to nag you to death. The business has no professionalism. Unless you enjoy spam, buy elsewhere. I will in future.”

“Bulb failed within 2 hours of being fitted. Similar experience with previous purchhases of Opus golf ball lightbulbs. They are cheap so not worth the hassle of returning”

“The 2 floodlights I ordered were shown as IP65 rated on the website but the packaging stated they were IP44 when they arrived! The order arrived quickly but was clearly not as described. When I last checked a week later, the website description was still incorrect. I’ve had to return the lights with a prepaid label provided by customer service but am still awaiting the promised full refund. Hopefully this will arrive very soon otherwise I shall have to enter into more correspondence.”

“I am very unsatisfied even though the bulbs arrived promptly and worked. However, I had searched for warm white bulbs but the response to my search showed me cool white bulbs and I ended up ordering the wrong bulbs.”

“I had to return after calling them, The women said it's not a problem just return them sosent back with original invoice, after they got the parcel back they asked for tracking number, then courier, I sent them proof of delivery but they said they didn't know where the parcel was, I just want my money back as I have returned item with proof, I luckily paid with Paypal who said I am entitled o my money back, what a nightmare, never again.”

“l've given 1 star as al though everything else was ok, the actual light bulbs l wanted were yellow & very low light, as they are for my cat, but although the bulbs are indeed a real yellow colour, when switched on they give off a red colour, most unsuitable. Can you explain why please. thank you.”

“Delivery extremely slow - advertised as 2-3 working days but when I complained after still not receiving the goods a week later, I was told their contract with Royal Mail has a 15 working day service level. Until my order is more than 15 working days late they will not refund me or deal with replacement! Had they quoted 15 days delivery in the first place I would not have placed the order. Stick with Amazon, far quicker (and cheaper).”
